Rusty Bucket - Arlington
Rusty Bucky at Lane Avenue did an outstanding job serving meals quickly and getting bills to customers before a major event at Schottenstein Arena.
Way too noisy for me and we were there early @ 5:30. Liked the food. Service was so-so.
Very accommodating for a large group for an away OSU football watch party!! Great service and food!
Great service. Really enjoyed my dish—the quinoa salad with chicken. Very accommodating for a business meeting. Thank you!
Had a fantastic time catching a college football game with a friend. Our server, Reginald, could not have been more friendly or attentive. He had great recommendations, timing with refills, and wry sense of humor. The food was, as always, really good (haven't had a bad dish before and you certainly can't go wrong with pot-stickers, beer cheese burger, and buffalo chicken sandwich with side of sweet chili sauce). Left satisfied and will definitely go back to catch another game.
Server was very nice and receptive. Just slow -way out on patio. I think. Steak was under cooked. They quickly fixed.
Excellent- but I expected no
less. Rusty Bucket Arlington is
definitely the Flag Ship location, in all respects.
Food and service were very good. Seated immediately with Open Table reservation, especially since we arrived early
Wonderful time with a friend at dinner. Steak was one of the best I've had and the broccoli was perfectly cooked and not overdone. We ate on the patio so the noise level was pleasant and allowed us to converse easily. If we had been inside the noise level would have made it more difficult. I'll readily return in the future.
First Timer - Food took a little longer than I would have expected. Not a fan of Gary's Famous Margarita. Overall it was a good experience and we had a good waitress. I did like the ease of reserving a table.
Our waiter seemed a little, okay more than a little overwhelmed and maybe even frustrated because drinks were taking about 20-30 minutes to be ready. Food was good but took a really long time to hit the table. And for a Saturday night it really wasn’t that busy so not sure how everything seemed to be out of whack.
We took our two young grandsons out to dinner at the Rusty Bucket. We ordered their food first and it came out first since they were hungry. One of them had a hamburger and the other ordered the Mac n Cheese kids meals. They both liked their food but proclaimed that they were still hungry after their meal. Possibly the portions were a bit small for a 7 and 8 year old. I ordered the fish n chips with their delicious garlic green beans instead of the fries. Our main complaint that evening was the waitress. My husband described her as "jumpy" when she took our order, but I just saw her as in a total hurry and extremely non observant of our needs. When we return we will certainly not sit in her section again.
Good inexpensive food for quick dinner
We went for Mother’s Day brunch. All the other places I looked into weren’t taking any more reservations, but I was able to make a reservation at Rusty Bucket. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, but service was slow anyway. We sat for quite awhile after ordering.
Service was very slow especially as it was lunchtime. Food was ok but greatly overpriced. Not a spot I am anxious to return to.
Very accommodating for a large group for a birthday!
Not a favorite when it comes to food but a good place to meet up with friends for drinks. Spending $80.00 for greasy fried pickles, a wedge salad served on a tiny plate and a very dry pizza is not my idea of the best value for my money. Thankfully part of that bill was the 20% tip and Coors light which was cold and right on! On the upside the server was attentive and checked in to make sure we had what we needed. I find the food and service hit or miss when I visit Rusty Bucket but it is a great location and friends like to meet there so I’ll be back but will probably stick to a burger and fries and the cold Coors light.
Food and service was great as usual, seating was very cramped and uncomfortable. Of course there was 8 adults, a 2 year old and a 4 week old baby. Maybe the covered porch area would have been better. Still though one of our favorite restaurants.
Our meals were outstanding! We especially appreciated that you didn't skimp on the cheese!!! We will definitely come back again!
It was a busy Saturday evening with people waiting for tables. We had 6:15 reservations, and were shown to a table at 6:15. Server Elle was prompt taking our drink order and later the food order. We didn't feel rushed and everything proceeded nicely. Food was great and well prepared. We have no complaints. Rusty Bucket is now on our list of restaurants we will return to next time visiting Columbus.
My last two visits to RustyBucket have been disappointing. A friend and I ate there about two weeks ago. I had the wings. I am used to the wings at Roosters, and these were about 1/3 the size, and twice the price. There was very little meat on them. For the price (around eleven dollars) I was very, very disappointed. Yesterday I ordered my go-to favorite, the double nickel salad with chicken. It was terrible. They apparently forgot to put any blue cheese on it and had way too many diced tomatoes, which were obviously out of season and tasteless. The chicken was dry. My overall impression was someone was trying to save money on this salad. I was embarrassed to bring my guests here because I had raved about the food. Sorry, but I don't think I will be back, at least not to this location.
I ordered a drink with lime and the lime was old, dried up and looked dirty. The bartender should be aware that and old lime in a drink is not appetizing.
Great place for taking my children.
Reserved table for party of 10. Seating was closely backed to people at the the bar, constantly being bumped into.
Waiter seemed nice at first but then handed out our bills prematurely, we were still drinking and visiting, he had to adjust my bill several times because he kept bringing it to me and we were still drinking and considering dessert. He did check on us to offer more drinks or even to refill water glasses. Felt very rushed and unwelcomed. Food was ok but I wouldn't go back due to service and seating.
We were pleasantly surprised by the food. We hadn’t been there in a while and we had normally used the “Bucket” as a place for a night cap! It’s definitely more than just bar food!
My wife had the Rusty Bucket of Wings and I had the Turkey Club we both had the onion rings that were really good the breading was the best on the onion rings. Their signature drinks the pine fin and draft bucket punch were excellent. We will be backed.
Would probably have been better if the seared Tuna wrap had decent tuna. What I got was full of sinew. Very stringy, not sushi grade tuna. If your going to have tuna on the menu and serve it raw, it should be better grade. The salmon in my wife's salad was very good so one out of two I guess ain't totally bad so I give it a 3 out of 5.
We had one of the best burgers yet with the Rusty Bucket Burger!!!!! Great service.
Valentine’s Day and we were seated in the enclosed patio area. Nice and warm! Grateful for the table on such a busy night. The food was great as always and our server was attentive but not intrusive. Thanks Rusty Bucket!
The only downside was a group of unsupervised children running around in the patio/fireplace area. The onsite manager should have addressed without any prompting from other diners. The parents were too busy chatting with one another to watch their children, but had one of them injured themselves I’d wager they’d have blamed your establishment for not adequately protecting their precious darlings.
The salmon dinner was excellent.
Loved sitting on the patio w Heaters
Want to very much thank the host and our server; I had originally made the reservation for four. We were attending calling hours at the Schoedinger funeral home and as the evening wore on more and more family members talked about joining our party. The host was wonderfully patient and accommodating when I changed the reservation TWICE, both times with very little notice, and he managed to seat everyone who showed up at a single table. It made an otherwise emotionally difficult evening much more pleasant and I am so grateful to him. Our server was also wonderful; she gave us as much time as we needed to look over the menus, didn’t rush us in any way, and was so kind and friendly. Thanks again to both of them. I hope their supervisors see this and let them know how grateful I am.
New favorite place for the bread pudding! Food was very good and the service friendly and helpful.
Had a great dinner on Friday night with Friends, We had. Salad and Soup, Salad with Chicken, Rueben and Burger. All done exactly as ordered and wonderful. We were not rushed and stayed longer than we should have, but we were having fun! Can’t go wrong here
Our waiter (Hal or Al?) was very friendly and receptive. Food presented well and tasted good!
Food was very good and the service was excellent. Friendly atmosphere with local people who are very friendly.
Six friends got together to celebrate two birthdays. Our server, Truman, was excellent in helping us make menu selections and have an enjoyable dinner experience. Thanks, Truman! Salads, salmon, desserts all delicious.
A neighborhood favorite! Love the salads and the sandwiches.
We were visiting my father from out of town and ate at the Rusty Bucket because of prior good experience with this restaurant.
