My 6 friends and I met up for lunch and we all loved our food and our server, Nick. After I left one of my friends called to say I had left my credit card behind. She and one of the others were still in the lobby and Nick caught up with them to give my credit card to them. I was very thankful. We will be back!

With a menu broad enough for our three generations of diverse eaters, all of which was delicious, the Clintonville Rusty Bucket was a great place to gather while everyone was in town. Great service (Thanks Allison) only enhanced our evening.

I frequent Rusty bucket a lot. I have to say this was the first time that I was less impressed with my food there. I ordered the meatloaf which was decent, but the mashed potatoes were lumpy, dry and lacked flavor. I ordered a piece of their pumpkin dessert to go, which was good as I tasted it when I got home however it was quite expensive for the size of piece I got. I will not let this experience deter me from going back however, it may not be my go to restaurant when I just wanna casual dinner

The only complaint I have is that there are limited items that can be made gluten-free (why one burger and not the others?). Since I've had dietary limitations placed on my by allergies, I've become more sensitive to what is being provided by restaurants. This is an OK option, but it could definitely be better.

Appetizers were very small. Everything was a bit pricey for what you get. Fish and chips for $19. 25, but not a big enough portion that I couldn't finish it all, so I thought that was too high. Buffalo cauliflower were very good. Waiter forgot our sweet potato fries and had to be reminded. No drink refills. All in all I prefer old bag of nails.

Giovanni was our server and he was excellent. Our potty training toddler made quite a puddle under his high chair. By the time I got back from the restroom the mess had been cleaned and the high chair replaced. I didn’t have to say one word to anyone. That was amazing, mostly b/c that is embarrassing every time it happens. I had asked about why the rice is not considered gluten free and our server said he’d find out, but he never got back to me. So I ask again, why is it not considered GF? Is it a seasoning you put in it? Rice itself is gluten free. The chikky chikky bowl would be so much more filling if it had rice in it. Or is there a bean alternative? Otherwise we are very pleased with RB, and come almost weekly.
