The Music Box is our go-to spot for music in Cleveland. Beautiful venue on the river. Nice stage in the Rusty Anchor backed by boats cruising the river. Solid menu with good service, reasonable prices. Great sound system.
My mother and I had the most amazing time! We made new friends and my boss lives on the West Bank and walk over to join us. The beef short ribs were tender and juicy, the vegetables were flavorful and mashed potatoes were whipped to perfection. I am a huge fan of Nightbridge and a super fan of the sensual sounds of Motown. This night was truly unforgettable and the best time yet I’ve had at the Rusty Anchor. Thank you all for being apart of a special evening!
Made a reservation for dinner only to find out our only options were the bar or chair rail. Food came out too early and was stone cold. Service however was very good and quick to fix cold dinner issue. Overall disappointing.
My wife and I love the Cleveland Story Telling. Can’t wait for next season!
Dinner was delish. Service great! Definitely will go back!
Food was excellent. The Panko crusted walleye was possibly the best fish I've had. Others in our party got the pris fixe special. Which they said was delicious.
Q&A session for Euclid Beach Park session was rather short. Speakers very interesting and delightful. Wish it could have gone on a little bit longer
Parking confusing Yo need a large sign somewhere to show how to get in your door. Too noisy for me but I could hear Program was terrific., educational, funny, a subject those of us old enough to remember the park have strong feelings about. Too bad the dinner came so late butmaybe we should haavd come earlier. Your shows are a real contributiion to the entertainment in the flats. Glad to see you were sold out.
Went to the later Mother's Day show, and unfortunately the food was only the leftover buffet they had been serving all day. We didn't expect to have a brunch buffet at 4pm so were disappointed by the quality of the food. The staff were kind and attentive. The music was amazing.
It was fantastic & our waiter was absolutely fantastic. It was a perfect Mother’s Day !!!
Took almost 20 minutes for a server to come to our table to take our food and drink orders. We had to ask the bartender to find out server. Food was delicious and for $20 a person for buffet is great pricing, but couple that with $14 drinks that’s a little to pricy.
We had a great time at the Music Box. We went to see the FM Project, and they are a great band. We were able to make a reservation online, and it was so convenient. Everything was ready for us when we arrived, and we were very happy. My only complaint, and you can chalk it up to me being old, the background music (not the band) was so loud that I could not enjoy a conversation with my friends. Part of going out with friends is being able to enjoy their company and conversation. I came home with a sore throat, and I am sure I didn't hear half of what was being said.
Band was awesome! Steely Dan tribute. Service was slow. We are VIP members but no real special treatment other than valet.
The FM project is outstanding - if you're a Steely Dan fan they are a must-see. The venue is excellent, and the food is good (a little pricey perhaps). The only down side is that they use one website for the tickets and another for dinner reservations - it can be confusing (both for the customer and for the venue), and you can have one without the other and end up on the outside looking in.
First time there. Had a wonderful time. Food was delicious. Saw a Steely Dan tribute band. Would love to go back again.
From the friendly valet thru the entire evening, it was great...We were seated at the EXACT seats we requested...the food was very tasty...the music & show were high quality .....”jay” made our evening special with his friendly service at he bar...
Only suggestion? Make the cocktails just a little larger...I should need to “hold” my glass with my hands...not my fingers...
Entrees and drinks were pricey on top of paid admission for the show. We settled on the shrimp salad (she loved it) and burger (nothing special) and a few beers. $9/pint, $13/tall glass was more than need be. Seating is tight, trying to squeeze as many as possible into a fairly small space to increase revenue is understandable, but sitting elbow-to-elbow with strangers can be a bit awkward.
All said, it was still an enjoyable show, and the setting of the river was very nice. We would go back, but maybe eat elsewhere.
LOVE live music Love going to the music box love eating at the supper club !
Server disappeared. Very slow service every time
Delicious dinner and very entertaining and educational programs. Always an enjoyable evening.
I had a very enjoyable evening at the Rusty Anchor! The food and drinks were great! I recommend the perch dinner highly!
Chris Ronayne was a fantastic speaker and he knows Cleveland planning history better than most.
I've been here a few times and had a great experience.
Wasn't impressed with food as I usually am..buffet was cold and was sitting out long but in all fairness ...the dining room was not as crowded as usual so food was not turned over as quickly...I brought a riend this time...telling him how great buffet was
Everything was wonderful as usual; the presentation, food and service all great. One suggestion I have is that if there is an AV presentation that Mike and the speaker should be away from the screen. Much of the pictures were blocked.
Attended a Cleveland Stories talk. Great time. Presenter was very knowledgeable. Service was great. Restaurant was 100% full. We have been to several “Cleveland Stories,” this one may have been the best.
Potatoes are always disappointing. Missed strawberries and juice for waffles.
As a music venue and ticket cost the Music Box is a 5. The food was good but a tad overpriced. The drinks were overpriced. Service from all aspects was fabulous.
the food is horrible. not even putting any vegetables on a chopped salad and using iceberg and charging 11.50 for a non top shelf gin and tonic. and try to find your server. i go for the music but no longer going to order anything. ripped off everytime.
Great atmosphere. Great show by Swamps of Jersey. Waitress was always at the table making sure we had everything we needed. Stage sound was amazing. Cant wait to return>
Fun time, good food, great music! Enjoyed ourselves!
Everything was great except the needed additional bartenders, it took a long time to get drinks.
Great venue. I would like it if the menu would change periodically.
Our only gripe is that the server seemed to be stretched way too far with more tables than normal which slowed down our service.
We have been there many times and booked for a concert we had tickets too. Arrived on time for our reservation 1hr 15 mins before showtime and were told as a party of two we could sit in front row or up top where we couldn’t even see the band. We too had booked and very few tables had name plates so we were understandably confused and disappointed. We tried a two top where we couldn’t really see and the Director of Operations whom I’ve never seen there before very rudely told us we couldn’t have the chairs where we had positioned them together on the back side of the table. We explained what we were told and he was extremely unhelpful and made us feel like he didn’t care about us or our repeated business. He gave us the same two options further back or front row which turned out to be to the side behind the band. Some of the folks in better seats actually had tickets upstairs which was also frustrating. Then our waiter was inattentive and disappeared, attended neighbor tables without even glancing over to check and never refilled our water all night. Messed up our wine order twice and brought food seconds after we ordered for just one of the group.
Always enjoy the experience. Great choice of music. Very pleasant and prompt servers/employes. Love the view.
This is great place for dinner and a show, great venue.
The presentation by the speaker and the interviewer was outstanding. The food was delicious but a bit pricey for my taste. I certainly will come again but not as frequently as I would were the food prices were more reasonable.
A great evening at the Music. Dinner was delicious and the Cleveland Story was very interesting and enjoyable. As always our server Brittany and Erin took good care of us.
Food was wonderful as usual.
Drink - Moscow mule - a bit pricey.
I personally love going for the talks on Wednesdays.
