My group celebrated a 39th birthday and we are so happy we choose this location . The drinks and food we delicious , the decor is beautiful, warm and inviting, very romantic . We enjoyed the live music as well .
We took our mom here for her birthday. We were a large group with reservations on a Sunday. Tables are beautifully set. Food was good and we were extremely pleased with the service. The waiters checked on us constantly and accommodated the requests we made. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.
Great place to have a drink. Great decor, nice live jazz, bad food, go there for a fun time not just dinner
Lounge area freezing. Service way to long to get a drink and even longer to get food after ordered. 2nd time here. Same results. Six months between visits. Nothing changed.
Good food. Nice people that makes you feel happy
Not bad. Scallops dish tasted excellent and was cooked well, but they could have done a better job cleaning the scallops before cooking to remove all the sand... waiter was very nice however the bus staff was bizarre. Before the appetizers came a girl came over and asked are you done with your bread - I still had half a roll left and I wasn’t done but without waiting for a reply she snatched away the bread and tapenade they served and was gone in a flash. Maybe my wife wanted another roll.....I guess not. Overall it was OK but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
Server kept dropping and spilling things. She came back to wipe the floor first and then used the same napkin to wipe our table. Breakfast orders took too long. Eggs don’t cook long. We ordered coffee refills and servers took all of our cups and refilled them in the kitchen. When she served the cups back she was holding the top rim of the cups instead of the holder. Not sure where her hands have been. It’s gross. When we got our cups back it was in different orders. I know because someone else got my cup with lipstick mark. She did not change the cups. Overall this place is 1 Star. Food did not taste good either and the jazz band only played for a few minutes.
Excellent eating experience.. Had a Italian meat balls and Rack of veal. Meal was served hot and excellent taste... Highly recommended..
Worst restaurant ever. Waiter was highly rude. Food was very bland took forever to come out. Really crowded and loud.
Food was excellent and atmosphere was great. They have jazz music on Saturday nights which was a great surprise! I had the shrimp fettuccine and it was probably the best I’ve had in a while.
Our 34th wedding anniversary.
Good food, good vibes, and friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend
Amazing restaurant. Ambiance was breathtaking and the Server Marlon was fantastic. He recommended some amazing dishes and was completely attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. There was a huge party and they were accommodating to our needs. My job has over 200 staff members, I think our next party should be here!
There was almost no one in the restaurant, so it was very quiet and the service was fast. The food was good, but nothing special.
Nice ambience, good food, reasonable price, love the live Jazz. I dont have to go to NYC.... local gem ;) look forward to more visits
Service was good as well.
Nice ambiance. Service could be improved.. took a long time for drinks to arrive. Salmon entree fair...same with duck confit. A loud noisy patron disrupted our dining..he should have been encouraged to quiet down...extremely disruptive. Don't think we will return.
Nice ambience. Excellent service. Our server Guillermo was knowledgeable. Great personality. Well priced wines. Overall very nice experience and will def be back. They also had a very nice band playing. And noise level was very well managed. Highly recommend.
Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, excellent service and live Jazz music rounds off a perfect dining experience. Decorated in Art deco style, this place has old world glamour you don't see in many places anymore, truly a special and unique space to have a dinner party.
The place is really beautiful inside and the food was very delicious . Plus on top of that they have live jazz on Friday Night
Really nice place Live soft jazz blend in. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed from start to finish. Definitely on the revisit list.
Had no idea this place existed until I drove by.Great Restaurant by all means.
Nice ambience, food was delicious and the staff were great and accommodating, feels very cozy , drinks are amazinggggg. try the Butterfly Martini and the Green Tea Martini!
This is one of the best in New Jersey. Decor is second to none. Its like a walk in the art museum. Every corner has hand made art. Filet mignon came with right temperature- medium rare Seafood tower was well portioned. Service was attentive. If i have to, only thing bothered me was they didn’t have my favorite wine.. the manager was nice enough to came by the table to apologize and assured us that he would try to add it to wine list next time. Over all very satisfied. Highly recommended..
I’ve been looking forward to going here and sadly, disappointed by the poor quality food, service was forgetful and inexperienced (though nice enough when you were able to get their attention) and the value for the experience overall subpar. The servings were decently sized, but everything was either flavorless or too salty. There were too many missteps to count- also, adding a 20% gratuity is quite obnoxious. We had at least two uneaten entrees and were recipients of a number of errors, so to give themselves a 20 percent tip for delivering terrible service is why we would not recommend or return here.
It’s a shame. I rarely rate anything poorly, but I hope they learn from this feedback and are able to improve their restaurant.
Everything was perfect. Inventive fresh salad, delicious main course, great wine, good dessert, great service, complimentary valet parking and a fair NJ price on a Saturday night.
My husbands appetizer came out first while my appetizer came out around 20 minutes later. We never saw our waiter again so my husband had to get up and go to the bar himself to order us more drinks.
My husband and I dine often in NYC but since we live locally we always like to try new places. After reading some good reviews about your restaurant we went with some hope - only to be disappointed. The space is big and overly decorated to the point of being comical. Seriously...green and red velvet couches?? Nothing authenic - fake wood, fake tile, fake art, even fake fire (enclosed mini fire sconces scattered around). Bar is wide open and loud, not at all cozy or romantic, even with fake fire! There is only one stall in the ladies room and I had to wait 10 minutes and the place was pretty empty. Can't imagine how long the wait would have been if the restaurant was full. As for the food - completely unexceptional and not prepared in any original way. The trouble with this place is it doesn't know what it wants to be. The name indicates possibly a great pub with food to match but in trying to be a high end restaurant, it fails miserably. Although this restaurant is only a year old, I'll be surprised if it's still here next year.
The place is magnificent!! The food very good and the staff is very accommodating!!! Love it can’t wait to go back !!
We went to celebrate the birthday of one of my friends and I honestly loved that place since I arrived. His American Italian style reminded me of my grandmother's house in my childhood. The atmosphere is calm, pleasant and sophisticated. I recommend it one hundred percent.
We went for brunch. Server was incredibly sweet. The menu was a ‘new’ selection from chef. I didn’t get what I ordered but I ate it because I didn’t want to wait and the server was so kind. When I told her after we were done with our meal, she apologized as she was still understanding the ‘new’ menu. She offered me a dessert on her which I polity said no thanks. Once she brought the check tho, she said my meal had been removed from the bill. Excellent customer service. The food is very good. The atmosphere is amazing. I will go back.
We love Rustica and go for dinner, happy hour in the lounge, brunch, special occasions. Inside the place is so beautiful and cozy. The food, from steak to fish to pasta is excellent. The plate presentation is beautiful. The wine choices are good and not expensive. The staff is friendly. I especially love the shrimp cocktail. My other favorite is the cup the Cappucino is served in. Special.
Food was great, had some unique choices, and prepared well.
Ambiance was quite unique, though charming with interesting Art on the walls.
Service was very good, an overall good Dining experience.
the food, service and décor were lovely. But the prices were too high for this type of restaurant in its location by about $5.00 to $10.00 a plate.
Went the other night after a spa day for treating my girlfriend, as soon as we entered we were welcomed with open arms. Go to sit down and the power went out (due to the weird weather we’ve been having). Moments later half the restaurant comes back on. The owner comes over and apologizes, and asks if we want anything to drink while we wait, jokingly I ask if it’s ok to stay here or do we have to leave? Immediately says the kitchen and everything is ok, just the main lights are out. Luckily we were sitting under working lights. The food and service was excellent, even due to the power outage everything came out promptly, and everything was delicious. After eating, we were unable to get a check due to the machine being out, so I told him to give me a menu and I would give him cash for everything I got. For the inconvenience on us, he comped half our bill. I will definitely be going back there, mainly so I can experience the full ambiance of the gorgeous interior, and obviously for the exceptional service and phenomenal food
