    Nice spot ... and as advertised! Service was attentive and excellent. The only negative was my $68 lamb chop dinner was was not well cooked. It had been left on and cooked almost all the way through on one side of the grill, then changed over, and slightly cooked on the other side ... but not enough. There were some raw areas. The folk next to us sent back their steaks TWICE ... so I am assuming there was a problem with the grilling process or person doing the grilling. Other than that, a nice experience. I should mention that I would have balked at the lamb chops except we had an appointment and it was getting close and were afraid if we sent the food back we would be compromising our later tasks.

    Rust never disappoints. Great food! I had the duck and it was so well done. And obviously can’t leave without having the cheese cake!

    Paola & staff hit it out of the park with their Rack of Lamb & traditional favourites Rabbit gnocchi and Filet Mignon! Apps & deserts were amazing as usual! Our server Nicole was nothing less that top shelf too!🥂😋😃

    We enjoyed a nice dinner for 2 at Rust and enjoyed the experience with a nice atmosphere and good service. The food was nicely presented and quite enjoyable with us having the Mushroom Wellington and the Scallops Risotto.

    30 minutes to get a drink (we still hadn't even gotten our drinks at the 30-minute mark) is not acceptable, no matter how busy they are. It took more than 20 minutes to even have someone come over to our table to take our drink orders. I have dined at Rust many times, and this was absolutely the worst experience I have had either here at this restaurant or anywhere else in the area. We can no longer recommend what was once a great spot.

    I won’t be returning. The food wasn’t as described (missing cheese, when provided it was with a “here’s some extra” when it had been entirely missed), our server was arrogant and not used to kids (it was Father’s Day) and when asked to take a photo said he would do it later (it wasn’t busy). We didn’t repeat the request and he never offered again. Food was timely but me and husband had gastric symptoms same evening.
