Rust never disappoints. Great food! I had the duck and it was so well done. And obviously can’t leave without having the cheese cake!

Paola & staff hit it out of the park with their Rack of Lamb & traditional favourites Rabbit gnocchi and Filet Mignon! Apps & deserts were amazing as usual! Our server Nicole was nothing less that top shelf too!🥂😋😃

We enjoyed a nice dinner for 2 at Rust and enjoyed the experience with a nice atmosphere and good service. The food was nicely presented and quite enjoyable with us having the Mushroom Wellington and the Scallops Risotto.

30 minutes to get a drink (we still hadn't even gotten our drinks at the 30-minute mark) is not acceptable, no matter how busy they are. It took more than 20 minutes to even have someone come over to our table to take our drink orders. I have dined at Rust many times, and this was absolutely the worst experience I have had either here at this restaurant or anywhere else in the area. We can no longer recommend what was once a great spot.

I won’t be returning. The food wasn’t as described (missing cheese, when provided it was with a “here’s some extra” when it had been entirely missed), our server was arrogant and not used to kids (it was Father’s Day) and when asked to take a photo said he would do it later (it wasn’t busy). We didn’t repeat the request and he never offered again. Food was timely but me and husband had gastric symptoms same evening.

Unfortunately we went to celebrate Father’s Day but the food this time was really bad usually they are doing good job but at that day eggs with lobster was not okay , club sandwich was average , chicken waffles was not okay waffles was good but fried chicken was burn but the service was really good

Rust is my favourite restaurant in Burlington! It’s where I know, I will have a creative, quality dish, a perfectly paired bottle of wine, the friendliest service and a fun atmosphere, perfect for a weekend night! Last night was no exception!

This was our second visit. Exceptional food on both occasions.e had. We shred a crotons appetizer. An abundance of delicious mushroom, goat cheese on toasted sourdough.. For our min course, my partner had Miso Black cod….delicious, melted in your mouth; I had the Cabernet Braised beef short rib, which was equally delicious. On our previous e enjoyed crab cakes, risotto with seared scallops , wild bor ragu. Again, all servings here delicious..

We thought we came in the back entrance the way all the staff just stared at us when we came in. No one came up to us to greet us or show us to our table. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other which would have been fine but unfortunately, the food wasn’t worth the price. Our waitress was amazing though, it may have just been the dishes we ordered. We spent about $160 for a burger, scallop risotto, burrata, and 2 drinks plus tip. Again, we would typically be happy to pay, but it didn’t quite hit the price point in our opinion. Finally, it took a really long time to receive our main course. Overall it was okay, and we would probably go again to try different food and maybe get a seat on the patio instead.
