I will start by saying this was the worst experience I could’ve imagined for a Valentine’s Day date… NO JOKE LOL. It took us 10-15 just to sit at our table and we showed up to our reservation 5 minutes early.. we then got to our table and waited 15 minutes for a waiter… finally we then got our waiter and he told us right away that the food would take forever to get to us and gave us a drink menu and we ordered our drinks which was very good and came out right away.. but 45 minutes went by and we STILL didn’t get our food after having our drinks.. finally food came out and it was cold and didn’t seem fresh at all.. we had a 5 course meal and after the 3rd course I told my wife to just get up and meet me outside and I told the waiter to get me the check and with his respect we paid what we were severed and left… I would not recommend this place for a Valentines Date by any means.. and this was my first time here and I most likely will never come back

It was a horrible experience here, All food takes forever to be served, The amount that you pay is totally not worth it. The food was from 1-10 Maybe 2! The total for the diner was 650$ Very embarrassing

We had a terrible experience at Russian Tea Room. We ordered the Valentines pre-fix and told our server we had to leave in a little over an hour to make a show at Carnegie Hall next door. 10 minutes before showtime we still had not received our entrees or dessert and had to leave only having had half of our meal. On top of that the food was mediocre and we had to wait 30 minutes to get drinks. We had a good attitude about but it was not what we were expecting for a restaurant of this caliber.

Food was tasteless and slow. The sparkling water is too over priced! Only the atmosphere and decors worth a look, but not much.

Waiting time for the service was long - it required over 20 minutes to order first drinks. Drinks were served wrong and not as ordered. Service staff was not familiar with American and /!or Russian drinks and basic etiquette in US restaurants. Appetizers plate was dropped on the table without plates to eat from!!! No comments just dropped. All food was poorly cooked and served cold- not eatable!! Service was extremely poor : disorganized arrogant people with diminishing and angry attitudes like in Chinese takeout, not in a full service restaurant. Unpleasant and costly experience. Not recommended

This was very overpriced for what it was 28 dollars for 4 cokes and 27 dollars for water we were definitely ripped off would not recommend this place at all
