   WE had another wonderful dinner at Russell's. We love coming here, food was GREAT. Love their Lobster Bisque. We had dinner for two the Steak ala Russell. Steak was done exactly the way we wanted it and it tasted great. we will be going back.

   Mr. Salvatore is an amazing man and icon in the community. I love seeing him and saying hello and thank you when we go. The service is always incredible, the food delicious, and the ambiance great. One minor suggestion, play classical rather than that trash pop music during dinner hours. It sucks. I don’t want to hear Brittany Spears while eating a filet with lobster. Mr. Salvatore, thank you for all that you do for the community. As my aunt was fighting cancer last year before passing away, I visited nearly every hospital in this area — AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAD TVS, OR ROOMS, OR ENTIRE WINGS OR FLOORS IN YOUR HONOR. I gladly spend my money where you work. God bless you.

   First time there and didn’t disappoint!….steak was done perfectly and the sea bass made with a bean and spinach sauce was amazing….must have the banana cream pie for dessert….its Russ’s recipe!…..ask for Carl our server he was very nice and knowledgeable

   What a wonderful night. We had 2 steaks, 2 salads, and took home the Mac and cheese and chocolate cake. Loved coming here, will not be our last time

   We started with the caeser salad, hubby had the steak alla russell and I had the rack of lamb. Everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. How can you not love Russell's. Oh, and the best dirty vodka martini. Chris, our server was entertaining which made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

   We celebrated my husband’s birthday. We were not happy with the table selection, so we requested another table and were moved to an exceptional table. Ryan was our server. He was very attentive to our needs. We ordered the tuna appetizer and the chopped salad. The tuna appetizer was way beyond what we expected. Very good. Ordered filets rate, excellent. Overall a very nice meal and experience. Would highly recommend. Thank you Ryan for a wonderful birthday dinner.

   Amazing time and food. Our waiter Chris was outstanding. Russell is always there to greet you. My favorite place to eat and celebrate.

    I was a bit excited to eat here considering all of the advertising. I thought it was going to be the best steakhouse in Buffalo. When I arrived, I initially asked the waiter if the steaks were prime and he said all of the steaks were prime, even though only the New York strip had the word prime about it. I thought that was a little questionable. When my steak arrived, I noticed it definitely was not a prime cut. I also asked the waiter if the ranch was homemade. He said yes. And it was definitely not homemade. The staff‘s lack of knowledge of the menu, kind of discourage me from the experience. I received my Caesar salad and it had a large piece of plastic that said three romaine hearts on it. So I’m assuming it’s the plastic that wrapped around the lettuce. I asked for a waiter to come grab it assuming that a manager would eventually come. No Manager even addressed the situation. Nobody asked me if I wanted something else to replace the salad. They took the salad away from the table immediately, and nothing was mentioned of it after. Which I thought was a little strange. So I called Russell, who just so happened to be in the restaurant over to the table. I asked him if he had heard about my salad with the plastic in it. And he apparently cannot hear because he responded. Oh, you want dessert already. I just looked at my date and realized this was a lost cause. I am pretty disappointed in my experience here. I really did think it was going to be a great meal, which is what I really needed at the time.
