I enjoy Russells and have been there for brunch and dinner. In previous visits the dinner felt a bit more special and fancy, this time it was a bit more casual. If you're looking for a fancy date night, perhaps request a table by the fireplace or a table upstairs.

Brunch and service was absolutely wonderful. It did take an unusual amount of time to get our coffee drinks from the coffee bar, but they were worth the wait. Shared a Cinnamon roll with the table, others had breakfast sandwiches that looked amazing, tried my husbands burrito and it was so good (pulled pork yum), quiche, French toast all tasty! Grabbed some desserts before we left to enjoy later and were great even the next day.

Would’ve liked more lemon curd throughout the lemon cake, just having it at the top under all the icing wasn’t enough Lemon zing for a cake . My husbands filet was more well done than medium. But all in all for our first time was good. Loved the outdoor seating

Great summer patio dining. Very good bartender. But the star of the show is the chef with a seasonally inspired changing menu. The staff are also very careful when it comes to food allergies. All in all another great dining experience at Russell’s.

Inside very noisy, patio pleasant but sun shade not functional. Our order was ridiculously delayed, but to their credit they came and apologized and later brought complementary pastries. Food was excellent, some unusual flavor combinations.

We were disappointed. The flatbread was tasteless, although the toppings were fine. The ricotta appetizer was good. We were really surprised when we got our bill. The fish special was $56 dollars; I wish the waiter had mentioned the price. For what we got, that just wasn't good value. Also, $56 for an entree' seems completely out-of-line with the rest of the menu and with the general ambience.

Amazing as always! Russels on Macklind never ceases to be not only a neighborhood stable for us, but a restaurant experience we look forward to every time. This restaurant is reliable in all ways. We have yet to be disappointed; hope it never happens. We’ve brought friends and relatives here frequently and ordered amazing carrot cake cupcakes for Easter…and I thought the coconut cake was my favorite! Fenton is just as great, just further away. Thank you.

We had a lovely date night at Russell’s trying it out for the first time. Atmosphere is quaint and nice, and food was good! The portions are a good size. Next time, I would love if our server could state the price of the specials when going over them. My fault for being too timid to ask but I was a bit shocked later realizing the sea bass special I ordered was $60.

Was seated promptly, but waited 15 minutes for a waiter to take drink orders. They were out of the two things we were going to dine there for, the cinnamon buns and the Biscuits and Gravy. Staff was friendly, if a little slow. Food was good but the breakfast burrito would have been better with bacon or pork sausage instead of pork butt. I think the chef was trying to be a little cute! Not a bad meal but a little disappointing compared with our other experiences at Russell's. Would recommend with reservations, no pun intended!

My husband and I ate here for my birthday dinner yesterday and it was outstanding! The food was incredible, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was wonderful. If you go, check out the dessert case on display in the front dining area too!
