   Always amazing! Last night on the patio was pretty perfect. Great music, the food is always phenomenal! A slight snafu but the team rectified immediately and went well above and beyond! Thank you! Sandy was amazing and Russ, thank you as well. Russell’s has been one of our favorite spots in the city and will continue to be!

   I really like Russell's and was looking forward to dining on mothers day brunch but this time, not so great. We left a bit disappointed in the food and most at my table agreed that the food quality, taste, and quantity was just not as good as once was. Bummer but will try again.

   The portions are BIG. The food is very tasty with the right amount of seasoning. The vegetables were crisp, as they should be. I had the sea bass, and it was cooked to perfection. My husband said his hamburger was very good. The french fries were average. the Ceasar salad was excellent with lots of dressing very well distributed. Haven't had as good a Cesar salad as that one in a very long time. My Bees Knees cocktail was amazing!! It packed a punch! and the Hibiscus syrup is made in house. It was served with a floating rose. It had a wonderful aroma. Our server, Nickie, was a delight. The patio was cool and serene, a wonderful surprise.

    We had a great brunch. Food was great, the cinnamon roll was enormous and delicious as were our sandwiches and salads. Also got some triple berry gooey butter cake which was awesome. I highly recommend.

    The special - Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin served over Mushroom Risotto topped with a red wine reduction - was one of the ten best meals I’ve eaten in recent memory. Im still thinking of it three days later! Hats off to Faron, Sandy (and Maddie!), Max and the entire kitchen staff.

    The atmosphere upstairs was an awesome vibe and they had good overhead music that added a cool element. Our server, Clint, was really nice and helped make it an enjoyable experience.

    Majority of our food was good. The cinnamon roll is amazing. But the “hash” ruined the whole meal for us. The hash was mainly steamed veggies that left soupy like water in the bottom of the bowl. Very disappointing when everything is else is usually good.

    The waiter was attentive and knew the dishes well. The food was amazing. We split the shrimp appetizer. It was delicious. I was a little nervous about the chili flakes but it wasn't very hot and just added a subtle change to the dish. Really good. We ordered a couple of salads, the Caesar and the St. Louis Italian. Both were great. I asked for chicken on the Caesar. It was also great. We finished the meal with carrot cake. Wonderful. Now for the bad news. We were next to some kind of wedding party. I don't mind people celebrating but this group was so obnoxiously loud that my bones shook. They should have been in a room on their own or outside.

    Exceptionally good food served by the friendly, warm, and helpful Emily. The focaccia bread, Italian salad, sea bass were all very good. But the pot roast was heavenly. We’re ready to return to the pearly gates of Russell’s to have the pot roast again!

    Long time favorite that NEVER disappoints. The service was great as Clint was on his game as usual. Cheese Puffs are always a must and you can never go wrong with one of the award-winning deserts. Looking forward to another return visit.

    Sandy has been our waitress numerous times, and she always does an outstanding job! She is patient with us, as we tend to stay for a while. She is friendly, helpful, and a true asset to Russell's! The food, drinks, and desserts were excellent, as usual!

    Family time! Reservations for an early time slot with our 1 year old grandchild. Worked out great eating upstairs by a window and having the bench for her to have a little extra room. Dinner was delicious as always!

    My guest and I were not quite prepared for the level of chili effect on our main courses. Yes, I read the lemon chili oil treatment and was intrigued, so I went with the sea bass special over squash mash with broccolini. My bass had an initial fishy flavor to it. The preparation with very nice and the crust finish was executed expertly. The broccolini was close to inedible: tough and while the length of the pieces presented well, it was difficult to cut into appropriate bite sizes; I yielded at one point to finger manipulation to pull away the tougher string. The squash was filled with many delightful flavors that kept me "working" at it, but the spice level was high. My guest had the menu staple roast chicken. She enjoyed the vegetable base of the chicken and worked through the mushrooms and chicken itself, though she also had some troubles cutting the chicken from the bone. The mushrooms were the heat treatment for her and she remarked some time after leaving the restaurant that she was still feeling a bit misty from the effects of the spice finish. We joked it was good for her circulatory system. She LOVED the bread. Yes, I'll return. I've heard such good reviews from previous guests, and the meals were healthful and enticing foods.
