Outstanding food and great service and ambience - highly recommend.
Excellent service and good food make this worth a return visit. The noise level was a bit much for my preference, but I'm not sure that is the standard or just the two groups of people who were seated way to close for my comfort level.
Early Thanksgiving with my college junior daughter. No special Thanksgiving items on the menu, but the general selection was great and the food was delicious and well-presented. We both had salmon and found it cooked just right, with crispy skin and texture that was tender but not mushy. Our server was wonderful, just attentive enough without being distracting. We were seated under a speaker and near a sceeen showing sports; the staff turned off the sports as no one was watching, and turned down the volume just a bit on the speaker at our request. The entire experience was warm and pleasant. Very highly recommended.
Food was not great. Chicken wings plain, and calamari was soggy.
Overall poor. 1:30 pm Saturday- very busy, too loud. waitress was sort of cold; one cocktail was poorly made-drinks came out very fast given busy environment so suspect it was ‘thrown together’ and not measured. Unimpressive wine list. Food was just ok- not that we got a chance to eat much- the waitress disappeared after appetizers were delivered and never came back until she saw me pull out my credit card once we decided we would just move on to somewhere else rather than wait to be remembered . Friend was from out of town and was not impressed. Won’t go back.
Very good service. Made my sister’s birthday very special.
Great and efficient service. Dinner was excellent and homey.. perfect for a cold evening! Crème brûlée was the perfect finish.
Good! In general had a great time
The food was delicious - we got the cinnamon rolls and brisket dish. It helped that it was a perfect autumn day for outdoor seating. Would definitely go back.
Lovely outdoor dining in their "garden" off the street, with heaters for warmth.
Good food and nice atmosphere. Service was really nice
I LOVED ITTT ! WILL BE BACK !
Raygan our server was great and the food was delicious!
Great night out with friends! Good food, great atmosphere, welcoming and attentive staff. Would love to go back if we are ever in the area again.
How do you say, don’t come here if you enjoy eating good food in French, me neither but that’s what I want say about RHT! Never serve a
Service slower today due to full restaurant
Wonderful experience, great service and delicious food!
Was Not impressed with the service, solid food and ambiance though. 6/10.
We were seated outside and the heater was ineffective but they changed the propane tank and then it was much better. We kept our coats and wrist-warmers on but had a good time with good service
Fun and fast service before a game
Wasnt expecting French toast to be fried but it was good! Lots of menu items were 86ed though
It was delicious and the service was friendly.
Would have liked to sit outside where there were lots of empty tables but was told there were no tables to accommodate 6. We could have done 3 and 3 next to each other. Just seemed to be oddly pretentious considering the casual atmosphere of the establishment.
My wife and I had a dinner with another couple - catching up after a while. Although some other Harvard Sq restaurants offer better/more interesting cuisine, we had a great evening as the food and drinks were good, service exceptional and the noise level just right to have a private conversation.
Still just as great as always! Glad to be able to come back and enjoy
Food okay. Limited brunch options. No pancakes, one omelette. To be fair, we asked for egg white omelettes which was accommodated, but I asked for a side salad with dressing on the side and no squash in my omelette. The side salad had dressing on it, there was squash in my omelette. By that point we had waited so long for our food, that I just picked out the squash. I did ask for a dry salad, which was brought to me right away. Too many miscommunications. Server was pleasant. It is a nice warm place to sit. I would recommend because there just aren't that many options in Harvard Square. For a drink and a simple snack it's fine.
Cozy tavern atmosphere and high-level comfort food. Perfect for a gathering with great food and drinks, that has a more relaxed feel.
Good for and service. Solid but not outstanding.
Incredibly loud. We were seated next to a group of drunk college students who were excessively loud. Sorry for being a curmudgeon.
The food and service were great. The outdoor space was very nice, but tables were a little closer than I would like
Great for casual dining!
Not a bad spot for decently pretty OK drinks and food in Harvard Square.
The food and cocktails were both delicious. The farro and kale bowl magically tasted like mac and cheese, but healthier! The hostesses were so helpful getting us seated quickly.
Food was adequate but nothing distinctive to taste. If you want to get in and get out and have a quick dining experience this place will do. Our server was pleasant and fast to take our order.
Server was very kind and reassuring about my cousin’s nut allergy. Service was great despite how busy it was, and everyone was very friendly. Food was great quality and perfect portions, you really get what you pay for!
Nice ambience; good food; friendly service. Thank you.
Another weekend brunch at the Give Horse Tavern. We love it…food, staff, cleanliness. Will be back next Sunday!
Burger came out like hockey puck despite asking for MR and double checking he got it right. Also, forgot the bacon while English muffin wasn’t toasted. Fries where very good on the bright side.
