We love dining in the Tavern at Rush Creek! As usual the meal was great! Love the king salmon & the cioppino. The guys were very happy with the burger & philly steak, & the cauliflower appetizer is always great! And, the professional servers are so friendly and helpful. Thanks Rush!

Very long wait… ended up sitting at bar and the wait was just as long .. we never did get served ..apparently severe understaffing from bar to restaurant?!?? Lots of empty tables 2 bus boys standing around For a first class , expensive place , this was awful …

We had reservations for the main dining room but they didn’t have the space so they sat us at the tavern next door where we’d just had lunch so we didn’t dine where we’d thought we would. The next day we ate breakfast in the main dining room. $25 per person for cold eggs, stale and cold waffles, cold potatoes. Just thankful we did not get sick

We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air, nice view of landscaping and swimming pool, and sunny day. Our server was outstanding, and the food was delicious. Overall excellent experience.

Waited 25 minutes for our drinks, waited 45 minutes for our food. Appetizers delivered with the entrees!! Server was unapologetic about it and said kitchen is slow so have to do it. Food was subpar, except for the fried cauliflower. Would never go again.

We made a reservation at the Rush Creek restaurant for 8.30pm on a Saturday night. We had to queue when we got there, despite it being the last dinner time slot of the night. We were told that there was no space in the restaurant despite having booked, so we agreed to sit outside not far from the pool which was a bit noisy, but we didn't mind that too much. The service seemed quite haphazard and our order was only taken at 9pm. I ordered the King Salmon which was okay, but the pulled pork rice bowl my husband ordered was so bland and he just couldn't finish it despite being hungry. We tried to order dessert but the waitress told us the kitchen was already closed. She didn't mention that the kitchen was closing soon when we first ordered our food, which is the standard practice of most restaurants. All in all, it was an underwhelming experience. The place looks like it's best suited for families with small kids. For anyone looking for a chilled out place with good food, it's best to look elsewhere.

We ate at RCL twice this past weekend for dinner and twice for breakfast when we stayed there. Rush Creek Lodge is an attractive setting. The menu had an interesting diversity of items. The food overall was just okay. The hamburger didn't have much taste. The steak was under-seasoned. The price is somewhat understandable given the remote location, but I wouldn't say it's great value for pretty basic taste. The biggest problem thought was fairly poor service. The first night the two steaks ordered at our table were greatly undercooked. When the waiter brought my son's steak back, his fries had disappeared. To his credit, the waiter offered eventually more fries and another beer for our friend. But last night our different waiter seemed quite harried. the food took forever, our appetizer came at the same time as our entrees, and he forgot to put in my son's order. Also at breakfast they missed our drink orders yesterday and today the food (eggs and pancakes, pretty basic stuff) took about 30 minutes to come out. I would recommend the lodge and I would return myself, but I would advise people to not have high expectations for the restaurant.

It was priced rather high but the food was pretty good. There are two sides of the restaurant and we didn’t really care for the ambience on the side where we ate. But, our service was great and we enjoyed the evening overall.

From the start, we had challenges with seating. I made these reservations weeks in advance anticipating the fact it was peak season. We were first placed in an area where it was noisy and high traffic, when we asked for a booth, they said they reserve booths for larger parties. Ok fine, we then asked to be seated outside. They placed us at a two person table where it was full on sun. Unbelievable. I guess they don’t care about customers having a pleasant dining experience or overall customer satisfaction. My husband ordered the bison chili Mac. He was sick that evening and throughout the next day. Completely dissatisfied with our experience here at Rush Creek Restaurant.

The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is super nice. The staff is friendly. The issue was the food. It took a while to get our food, some was the wrong order, the burger and chicken sandwich was burnt, and the flatbread was very small and thin. For the poor quality and quantity of the food, the prices were too high. If the food improves and the service speeds up, then this has a lot of potential.

Most of our food was quite good, especially the shiitake bahn mi, cioppino, burgers, salmon and salad. Flatbreads were excellent. Lamb shawarma was dry. Cocktails were quite sweet. Service was erratic and confusing with appetizers coming at different times and drinks coming after appetizers. Check your receipt-we didn’t and were charged for some items that we never received. Also, we were surprised that they did not offer anything special for the anniversary couple ( a glass of wine, small dessert, etc).

This review is for the restaurant only. The resort is beautiful and has a great vibe. However the service for the restaurant is dreadful. There aren’t any other places to eat in the area outside of Rush Creek so there isn’t an incentive for them to provide better service. You’ll wait a long time to order, get your food and pay. Each step is painful and a lot of people around us ended up sending their food back for whatever reasons. Every worker does every role here (host/serve/bartend/bus) and it’s a mess. At dinner yesterday, our server who took our order never checked up on us again because he spent 90% of his time bartending. We had to literally get up and approach someone to get our check. Every meal here has been drawn out and time consuming, but the food tastes fine

Overpriced and the pancakes were terrible! Breakfast Buffett was dried out eggs and not worth the money at all. We weren’t able to drink the coffee because it was so bad. We had to order soft drinks. We were glad to be leaving rush creek lodge!

Booked this for my wife’s 40th birthday as we were staying at the lodge and doing Yosemite. Service is absolutely horrible took forever to get anything and we ended up not getting what we ordered. I booked this reservation weeks ago and yet they still said they didn’t have room in the dining room and sat us in the bar area. Once the food came out our waiter informed us that several of the items we ordered they were out of. That should have been told to us immediately after we ordered so we could have ordered different things. Then when it came time for desert we ordered two strawberry shortcakes with ice cream. We waited over a half hour for desert and then the waiter came up to us and told us they were out of the strawberry shortcake even though we had just seen another table get one. The waiter brought us a cheesecake and said that’s all they have and my family doesn’t eat cheesecake. We planned on singing my wife happy birthday but instead my wife and kids left upset and we ended up buying cookies at the store for her birthday This was my wife’s 40th birthday dinner and it was completely ruined by absolutely horrible service!

After hiking 15 miles in the Park, I wanted something healthy and filling. The beet salad was generous in portion ( easily sharable) and delicious. I also had an amazing Cioppino.... and not lets forget the starting cocktail with an amazing selection of bourbons and the Carpano Antica vermouth to make a wonderful sweet manhatten.
