    i made reservations a week in advance to eat at the RushCreek Restaurant - however, when we checked in we were seated in the tavern instead and told it had the same menu as the restaurant. However, the tavern is noisy with TV's on and not the same vibe as the restaurant. We asked to be seated in the restaurant but were told again - it's the same menu. After requesting to sit where we made the reservation for (the restaurant) we were seated a super small table right by the door where it was very cold. We ordered our food and were asked if we wanted rice to go with it - we said yes and were charged $10 for two very very very small dishes of white rice (to accompany the poki and salmon dishes). We asked for tempura or teriyaki sauce to go with our food but they do not have either and no sauce of any kind except a bottle of soy sauce. All in all this was a big disappointing experience and we decided just to get sandwiches from another place and eat in our room the next night.

    We had an enjoyable family meal here as part of staying at the resort. The food was tasty (although not cheap) and the server was friendly and helpful.

    We ate there 3 nights in a row- our whole stay. We both got something different every night and it was all delicious. The service was always friendly and helpful. Recommend making a reservation if you have a large party as it is always busy.

    Dinned 3 times here during our stay. The hotel and spa are AWESOME!! I guess I expected the lodge restaurant to be just as great, and it fell short. The dinning room served the same food as the tavern, and that is the missed opportunity for the dinning room to serve a better quality of food to its guest. Price was around $20 per item. The bill was about $170 including tax and 20%tip, each time, for 4 guests plus 1 alcoholic drink per meal.

    Spent 1500.00 here in 3 days eating. Had breakfast reservations for 8:00 on the 4th day. People in front of us didn’t have. They got seated. Don’t bother with reservations. Then sat 30 min with not even water. Nobody even looked at us. Wasted an hour and got up left and made coffee in our room. Nice people, just not any employees and price isn’t worth the food.

    We are at the restaurant for 3 nights. First 2 nights were OK. Last night was not good. We waited about 10 minutes for our waitress to greet us. She brought the wrong drink order. Our food order too 40 minutes to arrive snd she only came over once to say she was going to check on our food. The basil tomato flat bread was inedible. The bread was hard and burnt on the edges but the cheese was not even melted. It was cold snd the pesto did not taste like any pesto I have ever tasted. If left a horrible taste in my mouth. The Tuscan flatbread snd the chicken flatbread were both extremely spicy. I think you should have 2 separate menus in each restaurant. The choices are very limited. We were glad it was our last night so we didn’t have to eat there again.

    Such unhappy staff, slow service and a general air of chaos. There is no sign of effective management and therefore the staff appear untrained and disorganised.

    Great service!! Waitress was amazing! Good food! We stayed at the resort and was disappointed that the QR codes (pamphlet in our villa) for the food menus were not accurate! Was looking forward to a few items on the QR CODE and online but were not available in the restaurant.

    We love dining in the Tavern at Rush Creek! As usual the meal was great! Love the king salmon & the cioppino. The guys were very happy with the burger & philly steak, & the cauliflower appetizer is always great! And, the professional servers are so friendly and helpful. Thanks Rush!

    Very long wait… ended up sitting at bar and the wait was just as long .. we never did get served ..apparently severe understaffing from bar to restaurant?!?? Lots of empty tables 2 bus boys standing around For a first class , expensive place , this was awful …

    There are no other restaurants close to Rush Creek, so eating there was an easy choice. There was an excellent variety of small plates, salads and entrees to satisfy most. Food was tasty, service was top notch, and the atmosphere could not be beat.

    We had reservations for the main dining room but they didn’t have the space so they sat us at the tavern next door where we’d just had lunch so we didn’t dine where we’d thought we would. The next day we ate breakfast in the main dining room. $25 per person for cold eggs, stale and cold waffles, cold potatoes. Just thankful we did not get sick

    We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air, nice view of landscaping and swimming pool, and sunny day. Our server was outstanding, and the food was delicious. Overall excellent experience.

    Waited 25 minutes for our drinks, waited 45 minutes for our food. Appetizers delivered with the entrees!! Server was unapologetic about it and said kitchen is slow so have to do it. Food was subpar, except for the fried cauliflower. Would never go again.

    We made a reservation at the Rush Creek restaurant for 8.30pm on a Saturday night. We had to queue when we got there, despite it being the last dinner time slot of the night. We were told that there was no space in the restaurant despite having booked, so we agreed to sit outside not far from the pool which was a bit noisy, but we didn't mind that too much. The service seemed quite haphazard and our order was only taken at 9pm. I ordered the King Salmon which was okay, but the pulled pork rice bowl my husband ordered was so bland and he just couldn't finish it despite being hungry. We tried to order dessert but the waitress told us the kitchen was already closed. She didn't mention that the kitchen was closing soon when we first ordered our food, which is the standard practice of most restaurants. All in all, it was an underwhelming experience. The place looks like it's best suited for families with small kids. For anyone looking for a chilled out place with good food, it's best to look elsewhere.

    We ate at RCL twice this past weekend for dinner and twice for breakfast when we stayed there. Rush Creek Lodge is an attractive setting. The menu had an interesting diversity of items. The food overall was just okay. The hamburger didn't have much taste. The steak was under-seasoned. The price is somewhat understandable given the remote location, but I wouldn't say it's great value for pretty basic taste. The biggest problem thought was fairly poor service. The first night the two steaks ordered at our table were greatly undercooked. When the waiter brought my son's steak back, his fries had disappeared. To his credit, the waiter offered eventually more fries and another beer for our friend. But last night our different waiter seemed quite harried. the food took forever, our appetizer came at the same time as our entrees, and he forgot to put in my son's order. Also at breakfast they missed our drink orders yesterday and today the food (eggs and pancakes, pretty basic stuff) took about 30 minutes to come out. I would recommend the lodge and I would return myself, but I would advise people to not have high expectations for the restaurant.

    It was priced rather high but the food was pretty good. There are two sides of the restaurant and we didn’t really care for the ambience on the side where we ate. But, our service was great and we enjoyed the evening overall.

    From the start, we had challenges with seating. I made these reservations weeks in advance anticipating the fact it was peak season. We were first placed in an area where it was noisy and high traffic, when we asked for a booth, they said they reserve booths for larger parties. Ok fine, we then asked to be seated outside. They placed us at a two person table where it was full on sun. Unbelievable. I guess they don’t care about customers having a pleasant dining experience or overall customer satisfaction. My husband ordered the bison chili Mac. He was sick that evening and throughout the next day. Completely dissatisfied with our experience here at Rush Creek Restaurant.

    The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is super nice. The staff is friendly. The issue was the food. It took a while to get our food, some was the wrong order, the burger and chicken sandwich was burnt, and the flatbread was very small and thin. For the poor quality and quantity of the food, the prices were too high. If the food improves and the service speeds up, then this has a lot of potential.
