   Visited in March 2023 for my girlfriends birthday. Food was excellent, 0 complaints from either of us. The restaurant was quiet but service and atmosphere was great. Will definitely visit again.

   Lovely Atmosphere and Great staff, food quality a little disappointing ( luke warm at best ) the waitress offered to return the dish to the kitchen, but unfortunately we had run out of time with another strict appointment at another venue .

   Extremely embarrassing scenes when paying bill. I had a voucher which i had already emailed Brooklyn about, as requested on the voucher. After about 15 minutes of waiting around the staff member said the voucher could only be used by guests staying over. I made clear the voucher didn’t say that and I wasn’t advised of that when I emailed. This staff member then walked up and down the hotel about 20 times, speaking to other staff members before finally accepting the voucher. Not acceptable and a very disappointing, unprofessional and poor service!! Won’t ever be coming back!

   Whilst the food was nice it wasn't wow! We found prices steep for what you actually got. Chargrilled butterfly chicken placed on rocket and tomato for £16.50 is expensive. Had to pay for fries separate. Then added onto this a 12.5% service charge, almost £19 for a piece of plain chicken!

    My friend and I stayed and dined at the hotel. We had a beautiful meal. We both had the chicken & it was delicious. We were unsure on which wine to choose so we were offered a taster. Which really helped us choose a lovely wine. Breakfast was delicious . I would definitely stay here and eat here again . Compliments to the chef. Waitresses were lovely and friendly and attentive. First class service. Thanks.

    Food was excellent, service very good, staff were very attentive. Disappointed that the menu had recently changed and it was only the Al a carte menu available. When we booked there was much more choice with the all day and pre show dinner menu. Would only recommend with a note to study the Al a carte menu

We are currently running one asian fusion menu as well as one that fully captures the culture here at Runyon's Restaurant with an American styled menu with some incredible must have options on there for all different tastes.

    Visiting Manchester for the weekend with my wife and wanted somewhere different to eat. The menu was excellent as was the decor of the restaurant. I asked the waiter for a recommendation which he gave me and the lamb was excellent. Probably one of the best dessert menus I have seen for a long time very difficult to make a choice. We were served by Mathias (hope the spelling is correct) and also by Coral who were extremely friendly, really represented the restaurant and hotel very well. Where we were sat we were able to watch the chef at work which was great and the young lady can certainly cook. If your in Manchester definitely worth a visit

    Last minute booking, place was dead, only us and another couple. 3 of us ordered starters and mains. One of the starter was garlic flat bread and hummus. When it arrived it was a frozen pizza base with a bit of garlic and parsley, was really dry and bland. Rest of the food was ok / good. Service was great, we complained about the starter and got 10% off the bill but there was service charge added. Venu was really quiet with no direct entrance, overall was clean but under our table was bits of food. Not sure I'd go again.

    We stayed in the Brooklyn and decided to give the on premises restaurant a try as the menu looked interesting including a vegan menu which was a refreshing change What a great decision as the food and service was excellent, atmosphere was super relaxed which again is unusual with an open kitchen The chefs looked organised and calm which clearly reflected on the food Well done this is a real gem thanks for making our evening even more special 🙏🏼

    Very friendly staff and the food was outstanding! Very quiet in the restaurant and we noticed staff were setting up for breakfast while we were having our meal but aside from that everything was great! We will be back :)

    It was a quiet afternoon when we went, we were seated near the kitchen so we could watch the chef’s at work. The staff were attentive, the food and wine were good and we throughly enjoyed ourselves.

    Front of house staff were great. Waitress very friendly. Wine fantastic. Scallop starter cooked well. That’s it for the good stuff. Ordered the fillet steak. Looked like it had been microwaved. No searing to the outside. Should have been medium rare - brown all the way through. Also, how do you get gristle in fillet? Was supposed to have blue cheese sauce. No blue cheese in the garlic oil that was served. Chips ok but tasted like oven chips. Dessert a lovely bought cheesecake. Very poor value overall.

    Nice restaurant and nice food but they were out of stock of quite a few of the menu choices. Service was good, only thing was that we weren't asked for our drink orders and left for a while before the waitress came back for our food order, at which point we also ordered drinks

    Both a regular and vegan menu with a good variety on each. Food quality was excellent and very well prepared. Service and attitude of of the staff also made you feel at ease and looked after. The hotel is an open environment so the restaurant area is likewise. I shall return to both the hotel and Runyons

    Excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere. Had tapas, one of the dishes was cold but all tasted good. Music a bit loud. A little bit expensive but I would go again
