   We had an issue with part of one of our main course dishes, part of dish was uncooked and inedible which led to my wife leaving her meal half eaten. We mentioned this issue with the waiter and asked that he would show it to the kitchen staff. He said that he would do that. We witnessed the waiter take the food and throw it directly into the bin without showing the kitchen staff and then proceeded to the till for our bill which was then presented to us without any adjustments at all despite uncooked food. We asked him if he had mentioned the issue to the chef and he said no but he would go and have a word with him. The waiter returned and simply said that the chef had said that there was nothing wrong with the food despite not even seeing it. I then asked to speak to the chef and he came over to our table and said he hadn’t seen the dish but would discount the inedible meal. The waiter then returned to our table and presented our bill again without any discount to the meal at all, they had removed the service charge and said that was all they would do. I would have removed the service charge anyway as the waiter and chef were rude to us but I didn’t want to cause a scene in the restaurant and simply paid the full bill and walked out very dissatisfied. I wouldn’t return to this restaurant again.

    We visited for my daughter’s birthday- Food was nice! but that’s it- just nice! Its very overpriced & not a lot of choice. Having said that the staff made our evening! Amelia was so nice and nothing was too much trouble! Would we dine here again? The answer would be YES as we had a fab evening but if you’re looking for value for your money I wouldn’t bother as there’s so many restaurants close by that serve excellent food for for a fraction of the price. Thank you for looking after us Amelia & making my daughters birthday evening special x

    My wife and I had a child free day so took the opportunity to go for an afternoon tea. We selected a veggie afternoon tea in advance - turns out we should have selected a Brooklyn afternoon tea (it turns out there is more than one veggie afternoon tea, although there is only one displayed on the menu on OpenTable) After finally sorting out the right afternoon tea (by the waiter who was great and helpful) we finally got what we booked for…although it wasn’t quite as good as we hoped for £28 per head. It was certainly looked great…but to be honest the food was just ok. The sandwiches were different but yet somehow tasted all the same. The cakes were good and moist. The drinks were fine but nothing mind blowing. The main issue we had was with the Scones (arguably the most important part of an afternoon tea) The scones were small, dry and rock hard. Cardboard in flavour. A real disappointment. It’s a real shame cause with some fine tuning and a bit more care and attention they could get something really special that people would talk about. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience and the waiter really tried hard to fix as much as he could. He kind of saved the lunch.

    Just fantastic. Fab atmosphere and great food. Amelia our server was super friendly and knowledgable. We asked her to make some recommendations and she didn’t disappoint. The scallops were amazing as were the fillet steaks and belly pork. The side dishes of greens, sweet potato fries and side salad were also perfect. This is a fun friendly cool and trendy place without any pretentiousness. 10/10

    Food was lovely, very very delicious. Staff were nice, we tipped ofc. We did not know there would be a hugeeee service charge on the bill even after we tipped. For 2 people are bill was nearly £200… We had a starter and a main with a few drinks (not many) Food tasty, wont be back

    Shame about the meal as a lovely well located hotel. Food cold- had seen it under a heat lamp for at least 15 minutes before brought to me, sent back, second attemp not much better waiting staff extremely attentive and apologetic, shame the argumentative restaurant manager not the same

    We visited between Christmas and New Year, everywhere was pretty quite including this restaurant, so I can’t really comment on the ambience as it was very quite. But what I can comment on was the lovely decor, very well presented restaurant and hotel, American themed, a high quality finish. The menu was good, not a big choice, but what is on there all sounds delicious and tempting, so it was actually hard to decide- again American themed, but with more of a fine dining slant. The starter, main and desert were all well presented, well cooked and flavoursome. Nice cocktails also! This was a lovely restaurant, great food and good service. We went as a couple, I would definitely book again with friends or family. I was impressed with the building, decor and good quality food and service. Perfect choice for an up market American diner!

    We visited this amazing hotel and restaurant on Christmas Day. The restaurant was amazing. Modern with a vintage vibe. Food was exceptional. All the staff were truly amazing. Special mention goes to the restaurant manager Dennis who was a fantastic host.

    We did have a couple of issues. Our guests were not happy with their food and had to send it back, the replacements were fine. On the good side the lovely waitress tried so hard to look after us so you have to applaud that

    The restaurant wasn’t very busy and the service was really slow. Also the food quality was poor, I ordered mushroom risotto which was tasteless and took over an hour to come. Dessert however was lovely but ridiculously overpriced for the tiny portion

    Me and my partner visited and both had a cocktail and shared the garlic flatbread and tomahawk steak with fries. Very tasty. The peppercorn sauce was delicious. Good service. Good ambience/nice atmosphere for a date.

    The food was nice, it took a while to come when it did arrive after being sat on the hot plate for a while my chickpea curry had the chota naan missing. I assumed the waiterss was going back to get the naan but she was no were to be seen. No check back to make sure everything was ok. The first time I saw a waitress was when we had finished.
