Pinkies Up! We are proud to present a menu steeped in tradition, designed to create memorable Fairmont experiences. Afternoon Tea is served daily from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm. Please note any allergies or dietary concerns when booking. Enjoy our Afternoon Tea ($90 per person). Children 12 and under are offered our Junior Afternoon Tea ($42 per child). The hotel's parking is beside the Convention Center. It is a three-level roofed parkade with 415 spaces: Self-parking: $13 CAD/hour, $50 CAD/day. Short Term Valet Service: $60 CAD/day. Two hours of complimentary self-parking are included with all Afternoon Tea reservations. Pay at the kiosk upon arrival and present the ticket to your server for validation.

An excellent afternoon tea in the iconic Fairmont Hotel. Being from the UK where afternoon tea is something of an obsession we were very happy with the Canadian version - although ‘scones first’ was different it worked well! Lovely view from the Rundle Bar over the Bow River and friendly service from our waitress.

We experienced the afternoon tea for our 25th wedding anniversary. The view is worth the experience. The plate setting was beautiful. The tea selection was wonderful. Desserts were delightful. Sandwiches were good. The harp playing in the background was a beautiful touch. Finally the service was exceptional.

Our server from the UK was amazing!! Thanks for an amazing service and time and for making it special. The price of $90 did not reflect that in the products being offered at high tea. For my party I put in the notes and and messaged them about someone not wanting fish or egg products and they said they would be able to fix that and then they asked again at the front of the restaurant when checking in but they didn’t follow through with that request. I really don’t understand the culinary options for the sandwiches mushroom and truffle tasting like soy sauce, minced turkey and Dijon mustard was mushy and grainy and the chicken with cumin tasted like Raman noodle sauce packets and was salty. Why couldn’t it be kept classic like cucumber and then jam sandwiches. The junior menu was more appetizing by reading it. The desserts were also interesting one being apple sauce and then other being so tart it’s hard to swallow like cough syrup. The scones you only get one and can’t ask for more and you get a little tiny cup of clotted cream and jam to share with 3 other people and again don’t get more. It’s like they mass produce everything the night before so all they have to do is plate it the day of. Overall the food was awful for $90 you should get like lobster salad on a sandwich. The other thing that was awful is they had couches and we were sat at one making it hard to enjoy the experience bending over to get anything and then stretching across the low table. There should be tables for everyone. When asking to move to a table they said no it’s reserved and the 90 minutes we were there, no one sat down at that table.

I booked for a group of 8 and it was a fantastic experience. The room was great, the scenery was beautiful and the staff went out of their way to make sure everyone had what they needed and enjoyed the occasion. I would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely afternoon high tea.

The most beautiful views during our afternoon tea. The sweetest server, catered to our every need. Desserts were incredible!! Sandwiches were good too!!

We visited Rundle Bar for Afternoon Tea to celebrate a birthday at the end of May. It was a fantastic experience! Here are some key takeaways: - It was a little confusing to find at first, as when you arrive (at the second level), you have to walk into the restaurant, past the bar, to a hostess stand. It’s hard to see and while there were staff walking right by us, no one guided us through. - That being said, we are very grateful that staff took the time to read our notes that we were celebrating a birthday. The hostess said Happy Birthday and so did our server. Marco was fantastic as our server, going above and beyond, even offering to take photos of us without being asked. You must ask for him if you visit. Somebody give the man a raise! - For those wondering, the view alone is worth going for. 100%. - I will say that service did feel a little bit rushed - it could have been spread out a bit more so we could savour the experience. They definitely bring the food out very quickly! - While the sandwiches were alright (not exceptional), what you are paying for is the experience. Between the sparkling wine, the adorable tea timer, choosing from a variety of teas, and the bite size desserts, it makes for a one-of-kind experience in a historic hotel in Banff. Highly recommend!

We came here several times during our stay. The drinks are exceptional and the pork belly was phenomenal. Rebekah went out of her way to help us with another restaurant reservation and was lovely. We also went for the high tea service. This was a wonderful experience and while we did not all of the food (personal preference) it was enjoyable. We were even given a complimentary glass of prosecco as we were celebrating our honeymoon. The service here is excellent and the best we had on our trip.
