A bit of problem of paying, but resolved. The food did not arrive as there was a bit of mixing up with the order. Finally it resolved.

A friend took us out to dinner and as he lives in Runcorn we decided on Runcorn Tavern. Ambience was nice & relaxing and the staff were friendly. My wife only ate some of her meal as she said it tasted funny, I had the mixed grill, unfortunately all of the meat was overcooked, dry and very chewy. Nice club we were just a little disappointed with our meals.

Very good service and I really like the salad bar. Prices are a little on the expensive side, but it does include the salad bar. My husband loves the lasagne and it’s a very generous portion.

Order 300g stack and parmigiana with out ham. 10mint later they said they don't have 300g stack and you can change your order. If more you have to pay the difference. !!! 25mint later get parmigiana WITH ham.

Best place I've been to in a long time food was amazing and worth the price. Staff were so nice and helpful and they actually were interested in how your experience was! Would highly recommend

Always enjoy the buffet at Runcorn Tavern. I’m glad they have kept it on, as most have been closed down. Service is always good. Food is always very good. The only downfall one time we went at night, the children were running around everywhere. The parents are to blame, as the staff aren’t paid to be babysitters.

3 at our table ordered the eye fillet and all chose Med/well done. We all felt our steaks were well done as they were quite dry. Bit disappointing.
