   Staff was very friendly. Appetizers came promptly, but entrees took a bit long to arrive. There was a large party in the restaurant at the same time, however I did notice patrons who came in after us were getting served before us. Food was terrific. Overall it was a good experience.

   The food was very fresh and delicious food. BYOB was great as well keeping the cost down a bit. Wonderful service! We will return!

   I did not recognized the dish served to me. I order Lomo saltado and my dish came out like a serving of beef stew. Being familiar with Peruvian cuisine I would not recommend Runa

   Never having had Peruvian cuisine before, I appreciated the helpfulness of our server. The ambiance was very warm and inviting. The small plates -- especially the Mussels-- were delicious and the churros are still on my mind, days later. (I'd make the trip back to Red Bank just for those!)

   We went with our daughter because we had tickets to CB across the street. Although convenient to the theater the food is just so so.

   Convenient for dining after Count Basie. Menu lists dishes that are unique to the type of restaurant, Peruvian. Cebiche(not sure of spelling) comes in many varieties. Had Empanadas as a sharing dish and they were delicious. Entre of roasted chicken for me was plentiful and very tasty. My friend's Ceviche was a treat, nicely presented and she commented more than once delicious. Our waitress was attentive and informative. Although the restaurant was not full, the only negative was it took a long time for the meal to be served.....good thing we went after the show.

    I've been to Runa a few times and have always had a good experience but this time we had mixed reviews. We had the mussels, chicken skewers, cebiche with shrimp and artichoke, chaufo mixto, and the mahi mahi. The mussels were cold and came with lots of diced tomatoes, my bf was not a fan but enjoyed them and would order again. We both loved the chicken skewers, cebiche, and chaufo mixto (which was similar to pork fried rice but filled with seafood and meat and yummy spices, and a generous portion!). The Mahi Mahi however was very disappointing, overcooked, dry and basically inedible. We left most of it on the plate. When our waitress asked about it we informed her it was dry and inedible. She apologized. We also saw a customer nearby that complained it was overcooked. Even though she ate the entire fish she was given a free desert. We were not (although we weren't looking for one, we found that to be rude). It will likely be awhile before we come back.
