Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

This was a delightful experience for 2 long-time restaurant efficianados. The food was abundant and flavorful. Two delicious starters, grilled eggplant dip (so creamy!) and dolmades (fresh and warm) served with warm lavash nearly filled us. We shared an entree of yogurt marinaded sirloin which was exceptionally tender and delicious. The rice pilaf was packed with green beans and meat and had a hint of cinnamon. We had enough rice for two leftover portions. Two people can easily share an entree. The service was excellent! Our server made great suggestions (including to share a “feast” (the entree). Bread/lavash and drink refills were attentive. We were so full we didn’t explore the desert menu. But we will be back.

I love Rumi’s Kitchen. The flavors are on point and the portions are huge. Great value to price or price to value - whatever they say ;). Recommend for a group of friends that love protein and flavorful food

From their gracious and helpful employees to their incredible rice dishes and superlative Chilean sea bass, Rumi's Kitchen is definitely a place to visit again and again.

No matter what you order, you’ll love it. We’ve had both eggplant dips (preferred the fried eggplant with whey), the hummus with merguez (super smooth with tasty lamb sausage), cauliflower with shallot torshi, Chilean sea bass (personal fave) and kabob duo. The baklava is always delicious!
