Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. Our server’s name was June and he was delightful and attentive (without being too attentive). Rumi’s is lucky to have him on their staff.

Great food, fast service Tried this place for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great spot for a casual meal. Would definitely come back!

Due to rain & traffic, we were delayed arriving, but we were still promptly seated. We had requested a quiet spot and, indeed, were seated in an area where we could engage in conversation. Since we were catching a concert at Symphony Hall following dinner, we told our server, Luiseen, that we needed to be done by a certain time and he really honored our request. Just amazing service overall which, of course, makes the already tasty food that much more delectable. We will definitely be back.

Khaled was outstanding! He was fast and helpful. His recommendations were spot on and our experience was tremendous. Food, vibe, cocktails, and wine were all delightful. The only thing we would change would be the proximity to the tables next to us, but everything else is so great that we will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous evening at Rumi's Kitchen. Our server offered us excellent suggestions. Everything we ate...from our flatbread & hummus to the roasted tomatoes with labneh, to our entrees & dessert, was outstanding! We can't wait to visit Atlanta again so we can return to Rumi's.
