Our server Kathryn was outstanding. She knew the menu well, constantly refilled our water, left us to talk when we needed to but was very attentive. The food was very good, not over the top. Kathryn would be the reason I would come back.
My dad (73 yrs old ) took my sister and I for a valentines lunch there this week. We sat in the bar area! Our waitress/bartender was awesome! Sabrina was so sweet and went out of her way to explain things to my dad! He thought she was amazing! Food was amazing service excellent!
The food was great but the hostess that worked on Sunday night was very rude, we had a reservation for 6 and they put us in a very high traffic area and we were bumped all night long , I asked her to move and all that I got was an attitude. This was our 4th time there and I am not sure if we will go back
Had kabobs great service good food
From beginning to end......there were moments of surprise, joy, laughter, terrific service and excellent food. Thank you!
Service and food was great! Noise level is too much. Bad design for the patio seating. The servers have to use the same door as the patrons coming and leaving the restaurant. This was not well planned for patio seating.
First of all, it took us 32 Minutes from the reservation time to get seated.
I had to talk to several hostess and the manager to get the table and they seemed to not care.
Since it was Saturday night, I could understand that it could be crowded and busy. However, the service and unprofessional of the way that employees responded was not pleasant at all. After waiting for 33 minutes from my reservation time, they gave a table right beside the kitchen (hallway), where servers and customers passed by every second. I had to grab one of the manager to explain the situation and he was like the only one that seemed to be care and grabbed some free apps after we were seated. I would never come back to this location, rather go to the Rumi's by Sandy Springs! Highly recommended for Rumis by Sandy Springs (food quality, service, and professionalism).
Food is always good and we were seated within 7 minutes of our reservation time. The service was excellent. It is an extremely noisy restaurant though. Hard to have conversation without screaming at each other.
We waitied more then an hour to recieve our food and watched other guest get theirs before us.
Food was good as always.
Service was off tonight
They seemed all over the place
It’s always noisy inside. Hard to have a conversation.
Great food and service every time. It is crowded and hard to walk in the dining room but worth it.
Loved the Koobedeh kabob but everything was very good.
Love the place, but wish the two top tables were a little more cozy.
Our family was in from Australia for a visit and Rumi’s Kitchen is always the very best in Persian & service.
Thank you for a great experience!
Got seated an hour after the reservation time, drinks/cocktails took to long or were never brought to the table or forgotten!
Wonderful food and service every time. We had Kendall as a server and he was outstanding!
Our waiter was very friendly. I took my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. We were very impressed.
Valentine’s Day Dinner 2nd Visit here Once again Exceptional
One of our favorite places in Alpharetta!
Always a great experience from the time you walk in until you leave. Food and service is great!!!
We had (two of us) lunch at Rumi's at Avalon. It was my first time at this particular location. The experience was great. Since I only eat fish, I had a hard choosing what to eat. Our waitress Judy made some excellent recommendations and she was right on point. She always checked in to see if we needed anything. We had an excellent experience. This is a five star place and staff. I will be stopping in again.
Rumi's is one of our favorites in ATL. Has consistently delivered excellent food and service.
Excellent food & service as always. I had some guests with me that this was their first experince in a persian cousine. They were very very impressed with everything.
The ambient noise level was a little bit high and I think it make a lot more pleasant if it was controlled by some some sound obsorbtion panels.
But, great dinning experience.
Our waitstaff, Anna, was wonderful. The food is always incredible.
The service and food were very good. The noise level, however, was so high that conversation was almost impossible.
Rumi's has become a favorite spot for my wife and I. We like the Avalon vibe in Alpharetta, and Rumi's always delivers with great food, and great service!
A very good dining experience! We enjoyed every dish and the service was excellent. Looking forward to returning!
Amazing! From the moment we walked in, until we left, the entire Rumi team was all about our comfort and delivered a world class experience. The food...well the food is incredible, unique, and quite authentic. The staff (bartenders, waiters, support, management) were all spot-on! I will say that we were there on a Saturday, and it was crazy busy and quite loud inside. Thankfully, the propane heaters were fired up outside, so we were very comfortable on the patio. We could actually hear each other. Overall an amazing experience...will be back again and again.
Great food and service as always. We were celebrating our daughters birthday and they are always so accommodating. Thanks again for a great time!
We were there recently. I happen to check my bank account the next day and saw that they had actually charged us for our meal and someone else’s $235.00 meal as well. I called right away. They told me they would investigate and I have not heard back since then. I had to deal with this with my bank which now state I will get my $ back within 10 days. Out $235.00 for two weeks... I gave them a chance to discuss this with me and they have neglected to communicate. No help. He stated well this happens sometimes when we get busy. So this is my warning. PAY with Cash when you go to this place because it may happen to you. Food was good.
It’s the family’s go to dinner celebration!
There is something for everyone!
This was my second time here and I loved it as much as the first time from back in October.
Love the food and the ambiance of the place. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
One of the worst experiences I have had and I am a frequent diner at many establishments. First off the hostess literally said “come now” when she was ready to bring us to our our table. To top it off my kids’ book bags and bottoms were soaked as she placed us in a wet corner table, wouldn’t this establishment make sure the cushions aren’t wet prior to seating people?
Additionally my fiancé’s medium rare was over cooked, after waiting a really long time for our meal. We told our waitress, and told her we will eat the over cooked steak because we didn’t want to wait any longer. She then suddenly appeared within five minutes and grabbed his plate and swapped it out. This second steak was also over cooked!
Oh. We received another table’s meal by mistake and I placed my cutlery (used for my appetizer) on their plate and our waitress took another patron’s meal with my cutlery and gave it to them. We think she took my USED cutlery off...
Pull it together Rumi’s Avalon and stop acting like we owe you.
So loud a discussion was not possible. The acoustics are awful and in combination with the loud music (I love loud music at a concert) the ability to have a comfortable conversation was nil. Food is always good but Rumi's is famous for overbooking so.... plan on never being seated at the time of your reservation.
Food was delicious - the best hummus I have ever had! Drinks were strong and delicious..
Definitely a loud restaurant, but that was ok with us as we were a loud group of girls. I wish they had one in Midtown! It's quite a drive for me, but it was worth it!
Another delicious meal at Rumi's. We sat on the patio and the service was excellent. The sea bass was really amazing...a must try. Thank you, Rumi's.
Excellent dinner, great service. Very, very popular spot. Reservations strongly advised especially on weekend!
Delicious food. Great service. Fun atmosphere.
The Avalon location was nice and spacious. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. The hostess was friendly. The food was hot upon arrival and the portion was plentiful.
Excellent take on sophisticated Middle Eastern cuisine
Ambience and good drinks 🍹
