    We had an amazing meal and fantastic service. Should have come here sooner. The noise level is loud and our table was in an awkward location close to the kitchen.

    Food was excellent, as always. FOH staff, though, seems unhappy, which affects the experience. Also, and unacceptably, the tables are jammed right on top of each other. In my situation, the folks at the table next to me had to get up so that I could leave. C’mon now Rumi’s, you can do with a couple fewer tables so that we are not jammed up with the waiter’s be-hind in my face while tending to h the table next to mine.

    Had dinner at Rumi’s Kitchen last night to celebrate my birthday. The food was absolutely incredible — the Lamb Rack was cooked perfectly with a rich, delicious flavor, and served piping hot. We started with the hummus, which was smooth and flavorful, paired with fresh pita and a tasty little starter they brought out that was a great surprise. Drink service was excellent — I never had a glass go more than halfway empty. That said, the ambiance really detracted from the experience. The dining room was extremely crowded — we were packed in tightly, with no air movement, and it was uncomfortably hot. So much so that when they offered a free birthday dessert, I asked for it to-go just so I could get out of the heat. Our server was kind, but very soft-spoken, and with the high noise level, I could barely hear her. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times, and even then it was hard to catch what she said. All in all, the food alone was worth the visit, but the environment left a lot to be desired. I was hoping for a relaxing, romantic birthday dinner — but the noise, heat, and lack of space made it hard to enjoy. I rated it 3 stars overall. Would definitely consider takeout, but probably wouldn’t dine in again unless those conditions improve.

    I had a great experience overall at Rumi’s. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully plated. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server, Ariana, was fantastic: warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the meal. The rest of the staff was also courteous and professional. The only hiccup was the wait. We had a reservation for 7:00 PM, but weren't seated until 7:40 PM. While I understand that restaurants can get busy, a 40-minute delay with a reservation was a bit frustrating. That said, once we were at the table, everything else was top-notch. I'd happily return — and hopefully next time, the seating will be more prompt to match the overall excellence of the experience.

    Food is great and flavors are fantastic. You can find some unusual picks on the wine list if you're willing to try wines from outside the US. We love the place and the ambience. The bar seating is also an interesting experience. Bartenders are very friendly and you can see all the bar movement which is a nice way too to enjoy the place.
