   The food was very clearly not fresh. The chicken wings, while flavored well, tasted old. Same thing with the lamb shank. I’ve had good meals here plenty of times but this was the first time where the quality of ingredients was very low and not to the standards that I see in ALL the other restaurants in Avalon. Left very little to be desired, and wondering if maybe there was a change in management to have gotten sub-par quality food.

   I’ve been here several times and the food has always been good and hence why I chose to come here on date night. We ordered the shish kabobs medium but they came out well done. There was no pink at all. The shallot yogurt we ordered and the extra bread both never arrived. We ate the food since the server never came back to check on us for a long period of time. The yogurt was on our check which we told our server we didn’t receive and she took it off the bill. The chicken barg, mushroom hummus, and Shiraz salad were good. The overall meal and experience was disappointing.

   As typical the service was excellent and the food was excellent. I have found the consistency of the quality and marination of the Kabob has been spot on for the past year! I will continue to dine here for client lunch’s , family celebrations, and leisurely weekend dinners!

   This was the first time at the Avalon Rumi’s. We found the flavor of the food to be brighter at the Sandy Springs Rumi’s. We also found this Rumi’s to be noisier and so loud when it was packed that it was hard for the 6 of us to have a conversation without needing to shout. The service was great, however and the ambiance reminiscent of the Sandy Springs Rumi’s. Overall good but let down by the lacking flavor in our favorite dishes like the Sea Bass and the Filet Mignon.

   Great eating experience at Rumi’s! Food delicious and our server very good. All of the staff are very attentive and seem to know their jobs well.

   I love the food here. I don’t live in Alpharetta anymore but whenever I’m in town I try to eat here and I’m never disappointed. We also had a very nice waitress.
