About Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs
Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.
Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs Ratings and Reviews
Food was overpriced on Valentine's day. Most dishes were not available and at a $75 per head is very bad value for money. The enteee of fish was not edible but the first 2 courses were great . Dessert was surprsingly bad for a persian reataurant. Baklava way too sweet.
We've been coming here ever since they opened, never disappoints. One of the most consistently great restaurants in Atlanta. While not the cheapest dinner in town, you won't get better value for extremely high quality, well prepared food and energetic staff.
We have always loved Rumi’s. Saturday night, the hostess got my reservation really really messed up. Not once, but three times. We waited over an hour to be seated. No one compted us for anything. It is so crowded, so overwhelming with noise that you can’t hear yourself think. It will be a long while before we go back.
Excellent food and service. Despite having a reservation, however, the popularity of this establishment can result having to wait for an additional 20-30 min to secure your reserved table. A couple additional disadvantages: it would not be the ideal spot for an intimate setting given the noise-level, and you may have to end up waiting to have your car brought around (again, given the popularity). The food itself is outstanding and overall, it is a definite "must try".
The food was so tasty and our server was extremely tentative without being annoying. Everything was wonderful except the restaurant was extremely crowded and extremely noisy. People were standing everywhere. Thankfully we were sat in he back and didn’t have to stare at people’s butts as they waited for their table as those closer to the door did.
