Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs
Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.
seasonal greens, cucumber, lemon vinaigrette
ground chickpea with tahini, garlic & olive oil
garlic, black pepper & saffron with a creamy feta sauce
My favorite go to place in Atlanta. Never had a bad meal. Everything is always perfect. Love this place. Glad that they have reopened in restaurant dining.
Was very happy that Rumis opened back up for dine in.
Had dinner there outside tonight. Service was great and so much less chaotic than the last 50 times. I know that this won’t last but appreciate it nonetheless. Portions seemed back to the Rumi’s of old. Appreciate the owner, cooks , waitstaff etc for making it happen and wish you all the best. Stay safe!
Service was outstanding. Timing was perfect never felt rushed some of best service ever had. My chicken was dry which is why the 4 stars. It’s a problem with chicken breast and I should remember not to order. The lamb and shrimp were sublime. So good to have you reopen.
Fantastic food! Must have the Chilean sea bass!!
The food is consistently excellent here. My husband's favorite meal on the planet is there's Chilean sea bass. It's delicious and buttery and all their food is expertly seasoned and cooked. It's always a treat to come here.
Amazing as always. Great spot for business
This was our first date night out post stay at home order. We were so impressed by the staff going above and beyond to make things sanitary. The food was amazing as always! We will be back soon.
Wonderful birthday lunch!
Persion food? Who knew Persian food was so wonderful! Our server was very informative and everything we tried was yummy. We'll be back.
Birthday celebration, loved the baklava!
One of my favorite Atlanta restaurants! It was good to see them busy as these are uncertain times. I just love the interior design and fresh authentic food.
This is consistently great food, great service and reasonable prices. You can never go wrong here.
Excellent as usual!!!!! Will back Friday.
Excellent food! Excellent service!! We love this place!
Rumi's has and retains its special flavor and variety of food that is and always has been fresh and of high quality. I brought two customers in from out of town and they were not really aware of good Mediterranean food. They were very pleased and said that they were pleasantly surprised about the newness of food variety and excellent taste/flavor.
Rumi's is a great place to have a celebration -whether it's just for two, or for a big crowd. The food is amazing and the fresh pita bread is irresistible. Just brace yourself for the noise level. People-watching is always fun here as well.
It is great place, very good food, good service. we love it
We had a fabulous time as always. Rumi’s never disappoints. Delicious food, impeccable service, fantastic ambiance...
A few in our group were first timers and were completely wowed. We were all in agreement that Rumi’s is one of Atlanta’s top restaurants.
The food was amazing! We ordered lamb kebab and salmon for the table and it was devoured within minutes. Salmon was moist and tender, lamb was prepared with warm pink center and juicy. Can't wait to go back!
As always, the food NEVER disappoints. Simply put, it is incredible and very reasonably priced. The only downside, and this never changes, is the noise level. It is very loud in there...always! I would never go there for a date night to connect with a significant other. If you’re with a group and can talk to the person sitting right next to you, you’re fine. Talking across the table is almost impossible. The food is so good that it’s worth it and the hubs and I just don’t choose it for a date night.
Wonderful evening. The menu is fresh and flavorful - something for everyone.
We had a delicious evening at Rumi's! Wonderful service, ambiance, music, vibe..and the dinner - yummy yummy! Leftovers were also terrific! Thank you Rumi and team for getting it right! Can't wait for your Colony Square location to open!
I love this restaurant. I think the food is amazing. My fourth time coming.
I always love Rumi's and it's a good to for a great meal! It does get loud so if it is an event that requires clear communication do lunch instead of dinner or rent the private room.
Rumi’s - always serving up great food!
Excellent service from Tiger and food was very good. Only issue was screaming children throwing and breaking plates on the floor right next to us. Noisy but energetic dining was good except for flying sheds of broken plates.
I was visiting Atlanta from out of state and the experience was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible and Rumi’s is now one of my favorite restaurants in the country.
The food is amazing!!! A bit too noisy for me for good conversation, but it was very busy! Service was excellent!
Can’t wait to go again!
The food was superb, as usual! I would highly recommend Rumi’s Kitchen.
Fabulous menu..very nice place to spend some time getting acquainted with awesome food. Service is always great 👍
Sometimes the test of a restaurant is in the returning back .....to experience what you remember as being good. And I do not get disappointed ever, in what I have for food or in the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. I come away from Rumi's feeling that I've just experienced good healthful food, with great flavors. I love that is a go-to restaurant that does let me down.
Wonderful service and fantastic food
We love this restaurant. The parking is a bit of a hassle, simply because I don't like valet parking, but everything else is excellent. The food and service are at the top of the game. We love the hummus platter, all of the kebobs, and especially the Persian tea.
I have heard fantastic things about Rumi’s and was looking forward to eating there immensely. The ambience was great and the bar was lovely. The waitstaff was formerly and helpful and warm.
I was a little disappointed in the food. I was excited to try the Persian vegetable stew - but it was heavy on tomatoes and okra and light on lentils. I guess I just didn’t like it that much. Found it a little boring.
I tasted my companions chicken koonideh and while better than my veg stew, it was also underwhelming.
Next time I will try the lamb - I love lamb but am attempting to eat less meat so opted for the vegetarian choice. To my detriment.
I’ve been here many times, random days of the week, for lunch and dinner. Regardless of day or time, Rumi’s is generally a very noisy and well attended place - so heed my advice and always make reservations! Additionally, Rumi’s can be drafty so I suggest you bring a wrap if you’re inclined to get cold. Otherwise, you can find no better Persian meal in the metro!
Consistent quality and value for money. Highly recommended.
Todo excelente! Nos trajeron una entrada por error y no la cobraron
Our food was delicious. It did take about 20 minutes to get our bar drinks once ordered which set everything back as far as timing. We were trying to get to an 8 pm show and with the craziness on a friday night getting our car from the valet....we were quite late.
