Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs
Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.
Chicken kabob with bone and safaran rice was so good. Rumi's yugort was very delicious. Vegi okra stew was delicious.
food was excellent!
Always have loved this place, the food is the best in town
Great food, excellent service. Noise level was a bit high.
Food was absolutely amazing! Been to both locations never had a bad meal!! Excellent service!! My favorite restaurant!
The best service , the best food and the best management in an energetic and lively atmosphere with the hottest looking servers in the ATL. The noise level is the only downside at this mainstay.
I will go to Rumi's for lunch, but not dinner anymore. They now overbook and the noise is intolerable. You can't have any kind of conversation at dinner in this restaurant.
Awesome food. Top Persian restaurant In USA. Relax atmosphere
Delicious as always!
Rumis is a very well run restaurant. The service at Rumi's is impeccable. The food is exceptional.
Consistently great food and great service and great value. Would recommend this restaurant either in Sandy Springs or Avalon to anyone wanting great food.
Really enjoyed my Rumi's experience. Great wait-staff and the food was fresh and lamb tender.
We visit Rumi’s Kitchen about once per month and always have a good experience! The food is always great!
Rumi’s Kitchen is always busy because the food there is exceptional! Even when they’re busy, the staff is pretty on top of things and you’ll get great service all the time. I highly recommend. The eggplant appetizer and humus are fantastic...highly recommend. I’ve had the salmon entree, lamb kabob, ground beef kabobs, etc and I can’t decide which I like better or best. Can’t go wrong here!
I never write reviews. I was mildly irritated that we had an 8:00 reservation and were still not seated at 8:20. Three times I was told the table was being cleaned. That being said, once we were seated I was thrilled. The service was outstanding. I’m on a plant based diet and once I told our server, Ricki, he did everything he could to accommodate. He had several tables but still serviced ours to the max. He went above and beyond for regular service. I drink a ton of water per day, so an empty water glass is my thing.. my glass was never empty. Something so small, yet so important. I’ll visit here again and again. I heard from a friend that they had equally excellent service from a different server, a woman. Obviously, that’s their mantra. We were a party of four and all agreed, the food was fantastic. THE best hummus I’ve had in a restaurant. Go, you won’t regret it!
The noise level in the main dining area is uncomfortable. You can't hear someone who is sitting right next to you. Our waiter was very, very busy. He mixed up our leftovers and I had to drive over to my friends house the next day to swap. The food is always EXCEPTIONAL ! That is why we go back. We also eat at the Rumi's at Avalon. They have a great outside patio.
Loved the food, our waiter was lovely, and the ambiance was great!! The noise level was too high and prevented good conversation—difficult to hear when talkingbto persons in my party.
Fantastic experience!! Food is always fresh and delicious!! Great wine list. Service is always superb!!
The food and service were excellent as usual. My only complaint is that it is very loud in there.
Food, service, and quality are continuously on point! Love this place!
Our anniversary dinner:
We enjoyed the food and The service was very good but the NOISE LEVEL was way over the top. Table next to us were yelling at each other to be heard...it was awful.
Love the food but I want to be able to comfortably converse and this experience was anything but that...very stressful.
Always a pleasure to dine at Rumi's, excellent food and service.
Love the food , the atmosphere and our server was exceptional. My only criticism is it is very loud with a constant beat that makes conversation difficult.
superb food and service, best restaurant in Sandy Springs and north Atlanta
Food is always excellent, service was fantastic. Amir was our super server and Alex was a great bartender. Consistent, high quality food.
Fantastic food as awlays .. love the chenjeh at rumis ...
Rumi's is our favorite restaurant and always is a hit whether you go as a couple or with a larger group. The food and service are top notch -- make a reservation for sure! My wife prefers the lamb dishes, and I usually go with the beef. Either way, you'll end up with a great choice. By the way, the portions are huge so be ready to take your leftovers home to eat the next day.
Amazing food, good service. Worth the way too loud music + acoustics.
Best Persian/Mediterranean food and service you will find anywhere. The only drawback is a VERY loud noise level.
Rumi's provides an outstanding dining experience. The service is excellent (both table side and at the bar), the food is flavorful and delicious and the drinks are awesome. It is a bit loud but that is to be expected - it's busy in there because it's so good! Will absolutely be back and will bring people too!
Great but soooo loud
Excellent food and great service. A bit noisy but overall the ambience is very nice.
We love the food although it is expensive. With drinks expect to pay $100+ for 2. But iy's always too noisy and we can't converse with friends.
Food and service were great as always, but due to the extra loud music I had to scream across the table to just be heard by my guests.
Excellent meal! We were celebrating my wife's birthday with her parents and broker and his family and it was fantastic! Everyone loved it. Food, service, ambiance were excellent.
The food was quite good and the restaurant quite beautiful. Our server forgot we'd ordered our entrees, brought wine long after the appetizers, could not answer questions about the food or wine and just seemed to be a nice guy but totally unprepared for the job. I'm willing to give it another try, but would explicitly ask for an experienced wait person.
Celebrated wedding anniversary
The food here is crazy good!
