   They had a fabulous salsa band..and that made the night. Otherwise, the service was ridiculously slow ( although I don't mind slow service especially when there is music to enjoy.. ), the server was not wearing a mask and that made me nervous, and the food was nothing to rave about. They don't have a liquor license yet, but when they do, I'll go back for drinks and music. I want this place to thrive, so let's give them a chance to iron out the kinks.

   The food options, quality, taste and portions were excellent! I want to come back to try the plantain waffle and chicken during brunch. The waiters need to have a more proactive approach with the customers. I had to ask for the menus, waited for several minutes to allow them to come ask us for drinks and appetizers, but I had to call him. Same situation with the main dishes and the dessert. One of them seemed really lost in space. We ordered 2 passion fruit juices and these took a really long time to be served. We asked the waiter about the juices, but a lot of time passed until the juices were served. I have been to the restaurant 2 times and both with the similar situation with the waiters. If when paying by default there is an 18% tip to select in the screen, please make sure the service is excellent. I chose the 18% tip because I understand is a new place and probably the tip is distributed among the team, but there are basics that should be covered when it comes to a waiters service.

   Absolutely delicious and generous portion sizes. Best offering for Puerto Rican food in LA! Don’t forget to try MasterChefJr. Maria’s flan, it’s superb!

   For improvement reasons only! The restaurant only had about 7 tables seated and it took about 25 min to take our order. Then 1 hour exactly to bring our drinks and they only came because I reminded the waiter, which said when I reminded him “ oh yeah”. The drinks were brought unopened in bottles because apparently they cannot open the drinks lol, but they can work without a mask(go figure). Food was average and expensive for the final product. They don’t have swiping card method. It took us 45 minutes only to leave. They said we could Venmo them the payment. Disappointed

   DTLA needed a Puerto Rican restaurant! Took my daughter on Sunday, food was great. Also, took my friend for her birthday two weeks ago. Plus we got to dance salsa. She had a great time. Thank you!

   So difficult finding this place. Directions suggested Double Tree hotel as location.

   Their dinner menu was everything! Really delicious! We had the chicken stew, the mofongo and the flan . So amazing , will definitely have to visit again soon.

    The food was amazing, very tasty and big portions. The service staff was great, although a bit slow to take our orders, they just opened, so this is expected. Nevertheless, amazing people. They had a band playing and the music was excellent, but a bit loud for my taste. However, that’s just me, I’m pretty sure the rest of the people were enjoying the music. We’ll be back, for sure!
