The service is good but the food is not good. I ordered a mojito and it wasn't good. It has a lot of soda and it tastes more like soda with mint. My husband ordered a Piña Colada and it was so sweet that He had to drink water after drink the Piña Colada The quality of the food is not good but the prices are cheap. I wouldn't recommend it but it is ok if you want to have some food at cheap price.

We had a great lunch during restaurant week. The location is great. I wish the day was sunny because you can see NY across the river. Beautiful place. Nice staff. Large servings. Great pork dishes. Nice lemonade. We had a great lunch and will be back.

IF you want consistently good Cuban then come to this place. It is nice looking and the food is excellent. Some favorites are only available on certain days which is a pain. I live in Ct so traveling to New Jersey on a Wednesday to have Oxtail is not on the calendar but is one of my favorite cuban dishes. We had the appetizer sampler which was so worth it... excellent variety and all well done. For our meal we had the frita ( kind of stingy on the little stick fries in it) the ropa vieja, the picadillo and the churrasco and all were excellent. The frozen daiquiri was so good as well as the mamey batido and Cuban sodas. For dessert, the coconut flan was divine and the tres leches was also excellent. Can't wait to go back.

Overall everything was amazing. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. My only complaint is actually with the reservation through opentable. When we arrived, the hostess informed us there was no reservation under my name. Luckily, there were tables available.

This was our second visit. The girl that answered the phone wasn't too accommodating with our requests when j called to confirm the reservation but when we arrived they did take care of us. We sat outside and enjoyed the NY views. Our 2 servers were super attentive & nice. We had the guava sparkling sangria it was delicious & we all enjoyed the Palomilla steak with a side of all the mofongos & that was amazing too. We had a fabulous time. Definetely recommend this location & restaurant. We will surely be back again soon.

My family and I enjoyed a nice authentic Cuban meal on a Sunday. It gets crowded fast, so resrvations are a must. Service was friendly, food was delicious. I like that they have an elevator to accommodate a family member that is on a wheelchair. Just be careful and ask an employee to help with the elevator as the manager was concerned we would break it ☺.

Food is excellent and worth the money. Beautiful view. Hostess staff not very friendly. Got caught in flooding and they told me when I was late that I had no reservation anymore. Then they sat us.

We requested to be seated in the terrace but when we arrived they said they don't open it during the week. I guess its only a weekend thing. The table they seated us was in the middle of the restaurant instead of the terrace which is was bit small & a bit crowded. Specially when you are buying a few dishes and pitchers of sangria. Overall the prices of food are excellent and the food its always yummy. Definitely great place on a budget with an excellent food experience. Hope they open the terrace during the week. It will be more apelling to customers wanting to enjoy the NY VIEWS and outdoors during the summer months.

On the reservation I marked Birthday! When at the restaurant no one ecknoledged it. It will also be nice in a Cuban restaurant to play contemporary Cuban music and not just old one from 60 years ago or non Cuban at all.

This is a nice place to come and eat for cheap with family/friends. The food is good and the location is great right by the water, but somethings definitely need improvement. The biggest bummer for my visit was the reservation situation. First, it is quite difficult to get a table here without booking a week in advance for the weekend. It is crazy packed. Knowing this I made a reservation for Friday at 7:00pm and then called to double confirm it and then got an email to confirm it. Despite me confirming 3 TIMES when I arrived with my party ready to be seated they said they couldn’t find my booking-what?? The girl up front said a bunch of different things like “ you can’t book the same day, and you made a reservation for 6:30 not 7...”. None of this was true. I made a reservation for 5 including a baby and asked for a high chair in advance but she also tried saying the baby wasn’t included?? Good thing I had proof on my phone of my res. Made a week before with the correct time and amount of people. I found it so rude to have had to deal with that and having been treated like I was trying to get one over on them. It was totally their mistake. Other than the waiter clearing out plates before we were done with our appetizers and seeming to be in a bit of a rush, the overall experience was great but don’t expect stellar service. My advice to the restaurant- I know you’re very busy, but treat your customers with courtesy and apologize for your mistakes.
