From start to finish it was absolutely incredible. We actually were notified earlier than our reservation time that we could get our table so we decided to accept and begin our dining experience. The hostesses were very friendly and inviting. Our front and back server were both very warm and knowledgeable. Very easy going vibes. We didn’t feel rushed. Our cocktails were delicious. I had the pear martini and my husband had a buffalo trace old fashion. Both were made to perfection. The food was mouth watering superb!!! I had the lasagna. The sauce is to die for and my husband had the special Pork chop which was also excellent. We finished our dinner with the Cheesecake and OMG it almost made me cry it was so good. It was our anniversary so they also brought out a complimentary brownie for us to celebrate. But, then we were surprised with Cotton Candy for a pallet cleanser at the very end of our meal. We will be back. We plan to make this our quarterly out of town date night spot!! Thank y’all so much!

Had Sunday brunch at Ruffino’s in Lafayette. The place was pretty busy, but the service was friendly and quite attentive. Both the food and drinks were excellent. We’re both pescatarians, and they have plenty of options. Overall, a fantastic meal!

Everything was great. Just a noisy party of about 10 next to us. Not the restaurant’s fault, but disappointing. Also glare from outside made visiting with those across my table difficult. Sun screens would be helpful. Great food and service. Look forward to a return visit.

This was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The service was great, the food was excellent and they really went above and beyond to make it a special day once we mentioned it was my husbands grad school graduation dinner. I had the ribeye with masked potatoes and a Cesar salad and it was scrumptious. The complimentary bread was hot and fresh with Italian herbs. Everything we all ordered was exceptionally delicious. They brought us a complimentary dessert with the word congratulations on the plate. It www amazing. And the cotton candy! So good!! The manager packed up some extras for my kids when I mentioned them. The server Jake was very personable and I forgot the name of the nice server who did our drinks but he was great as well. So so good!!! Worthy every penny. Plus it’s such a beautiful location

Lack of communication. I took my wife here for Mother’s Day to enjoy the brunch. The Food was fine, but what did not get communicated to me at the time of reservations was there was no brunch for Mother’s Day. Since the intent of this visit was brunch, I was extremely disappointed to find out this was not an option AFTER arriving at the restaurant. Had I known this I would have made reservations elsewhere. As I mentioned above, the food was fine, I just didn’t want to have lunch at 11:00 am.

Honestly me and my family has been to ruffinos so many times and they were always great but last night they dropped the ball tremendously food was unseasoned drinks were all wrong the drink guy only came once to ask for refills and as I told them we were celebrating an engagement they didn’t do there usual cake at the end.

We were sat on newly enclosed patio. It was extremely loud and difficult to talk. The sensation salad is always my fave and it was good. However the fish Katie was very mediocre as was the crab omelet. It just hasn’t been that good in a long time. Love the setting on the River and the drinks and service. Wish the food matched everything else.

This place has taken a serious nosedive. It was never great but now it’s just downright bad. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Tuesday night yet the hostess managed to seat us next to another party, so we had no privacy on our date. All 12 oysters had huge pieces of shell in them and my mid-rare ribeye came out medium-well.

I went eat here for my birthday dinner, service was good. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, to my disappointment after trying the chicken a few bites in, my boyfriend tried a piece and it was not cooked, rubbery chicken. I was upset bc of the popularity of this restaurant that this simple dish was not cooked correctly. The manager did not charge us for the dish in hopes of ,”making things right”. Not sure if this restaurant is a great as it is stamped to be. I hope this issues was brought to the cooks attention so that he doesn’t get anyone sick.

We do not eat at high end dining restaurants very often. That being said I would ahve expected to be overwhelmed by the food quality, service and atmosphere. The atmosphere definitely lived up to expectations. While our server was very good l, it seemed she had too many tables to work with. We enjoy some solitude, but felt we didn't get as much attention as we needed. The food was good, properly cooked and made to order. It wasn't something that couldn't have been replicated at another restaurant for less than what we paid. Overall, a great experience, but not 5 stars.
