The staff was amazing and the vibe was great! It was super quiet, romantic and quiet. The downside was that the food wasn't as exciting. I ordered the pork belly eggs benedict with the pave potato. Having never tried the potato dish, I was super excited but left disappointed as it wasn't crispy and almost tasted like boiled potatoes that have been left on the counter for a couple hours. Additionally, the parking was a hassle. I thought 1 hour would be enough but it wasn't enough time to finish the food. As only 1 hour is free, my friend and I debated whether we would return after paying for an additional hour but we decided against it while leaving half the food there.

The food was quite good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Had been there several times and ambiance was always good, but noticed this time, the walls looked quite dingy now, and the bathrooms were dirty, no toilet paper in any of them. Had to tell our server there wasn’t any toilet paper. There was a dj which made it very loud. Everyone was talking even louder to try and have a conversation. I asked if the music could be turned down, it was, but very little. Was told by the server that a dj was hired for Saturdays in the summer. Had I know I wouldn’t have brought my elderly parents there for lunch. We barely could have a conversation. If you want to have a good visit or conversation with friends or relatives, don’t go on a Saturday during the summer, Music is way too loud for that.

The restaurant was about 1/3 full for brunch on Tuesday, yet the noise level was so high that it was hard to understand my guests. The service was slow, with only one server for the whole restaurant who was also making drinks. I wouldn't go back.

Went back to Ruex and both the food and service were amazing! Tried the Espresso Chocolate Brownie and it literally melts in your mouth. A must try!

We had a great lunch at Ruex! The staff were attentive and friendly to our table of four. The menu choices were innovative and interesting. The food was hot, fresh, and wonderful! The Limoncello French Toast was especially noteworthy. The Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich was tasty and the fries that came with it were thick-cut and had dipping sauce. Highly recommended!

Took a friend visiting town and we had such a great time at Ruex!! We got the Mango Hotcakes and the Limoncello French Toast - both items were so fresh and delicious. The coffee was so good we each got 2 cups!
