Rue Saint-Marc is a modern French Bistro serving French inspired cuisine in the San Marco neighborhood. We have an extensive cocktail program and a unique wine and craft beer list. Due to the nature of this evening, we are not able to accommodate substitutions for this menu. Wine pairings and full bar will be available at an additional cost that evening. Our regular dinner menu will not be served. If you have any allergies please let us know when making your reservation. We cannot accomodate Vegetarian or Vegan options this evening.     I'm an old regular, ischedule's prevented dining here for the past year. Everything is even better than before. Terrific food. Lobster appetizer and 2-beef entrepreneurs made a great combo. Especially the latter. Barkers suggestion of a French chardonnay hit the spot too. Brioche and special butter? I gorged. Service - as ever - was splendid. I love eating at the bar, too, and getting inside dope on what's good (last night I followed Chef Ron Jacob's suggestion in ordering) and what's going on at the ovens. Thus is a perfect dining spot. 5 out of 5. 10 out of 10 , even if I'd still like ala carte vs fixed price menue. Sometimes I prefer two appetizers and no dessert.

    Little hiccup up on check in, waited about twenty minutes to have our order taken but our server was absolutely awesome. Food was good, one our two dishes could have used some salt but the desserts were superb and so were the cocktails. Staff was very friendly to our little one as well. Thanks !

    My husband and I did the 5 course experience with wine pairing and we both really enjoyed the food and the entire experience. It was fabulous. Staff was attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere was romantic and casual. I loved that the experience gave us more time to focus on our conversation rather than the menu.

    Second time at Rue Marc. This time enjoyed their experience 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Both food and wines were exceptional. The service was first class. It’s a perfect restaurant for a special occasion. The ambience is warm and inviting and the noise level allows for enjoyable conversations with those dining with you. Will go again soon.

    Party of 2 on a random Tuesday night visiting from out of town.. great wine list to begin with then excellent tender venison loin.. attentive service.. not found of the bread rolls.. would have preferred baguette or sourdough breads..

    We were recently at Rue for one of their tastings, and it was off the charts sensational. It was a Tuscany inspired hunt menu, with boar ragu, roasted squab, venison, and awesome forage. The food, service, timing, and execution was perfection. At Rue you will enjoy some of the best composed bites of food you have ever tasted, it's a privilege to dine there!

    We celebrated our anniversary with the "Experience" and included wine pairings. Everything was fantastic! We love sitting at the bar and watching the craftsmanship and care that goes into every dish! The risotto with parmesan foam was a new experience for us, and it was amazing! The wine pairings were wide departures from our "comfort zone", but perfect for each course and expanded our horizons! Love the staff, love the food, love the libations. This is the best culinary experience in the Southeast!

    We chose to go here for our anniversary dinner. We had the 3 course Prix Fixe menu. They gave us each a complimentary glass of champagne and complimentary amuse bouche which was not only beautiful but tasty. (I was a bit concerned because it was a liver mousse.). The plates and service were impeccable. The food was very rich and plentiful. I would definitely recommend Rue Saint Marc for a special occasion.

    I’m all about relaxing for dinner but 5 courses 2 hours forty five minutes is 30 minutes between courses with no one acknowledging that we are waiting forever. Over $600 for three people I will say I’m just mad at myself. I thought this last lime but now I know..Never again

    Every time I have the pleasure of dining at RSM I am reminded that it is, hands down, the best restaurant in Jacksonville. Chef always uses the best seasonal and mostly local ingredients. Last night our 6 course tasting menu had four different types of squash which created a very Autumn theme that carried through the entire meal. And, as always, service was impeccable.

    The space is lovely, the blue booths really pop. The $65/person two course pre fixe dinner selections we had were all very good, with multiple layers of flavor and texture. I upgraded to the $79 three course option for dessert and was disappointed, not worth the cost and 30 minute wait time. Service was good, like all of the Mathew’s venues.

    Food was excellent. Service was amazing. However, even with the a la carte menu, vegetables were scarce. Ordered chicken stuffed with walnuts which was amazing. It came with farro, supposedly. Was so insignificant on the plate, one had to wonder. Seemed to be a bizarre, Americanized twist on French food.

    Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed the delicious food. The service was attentive without being intrusive. This is a special occasion restaurant for us because the prices are higher than what we usually spend. The presentations are beautiful, but the servings are more modest than most places. For the smaller portion size it seems like they could lower their prices a bit.
