Food was amazing - our server went above and beyond to make our night that much more enjoyable.
We had read that the onion soup was one favorite, so I ordered it. It was great. The Rue Burger was also very good. The place is very nice. I understand the place was understaffed, nobody wants to work, now a days. Anyways, we had good service and the food is great.
Food is generally quite good.
I do wish they'd go back to the original recipe for the Tuna Tartar..
s better than the newer version
The Tuns sashimi was good but the sauce a little disappinting
the french fries are TOP NOTCH!
Next time - the French Onion Soup
Great service, food and location!
As always great food and service
We had a wonderful experience!
My husband and I came here for our 5th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time! Our server Richard was great and the food was fantastic (special shout-out to the Truffle Tagliatelle!). Would recommend and we are looking forward to coming to NYC and Rue 57 again.
Food is great, service seems inconsistent
There were plenty of empty tables but they made us wait. The hostesses and maitre ‘d did not do a good job in turning the tables and sitting people. They told everybody that walked in it would be a 20 minute wait. It was not necessary. Just adequate experience.
William was our waiter and he is to notch. Classy and ver attentive
Ru 57 lives up to its longstanding reputation. Greatness as soon as you walk through the door including host stand. Bar, Bartender were first in class. Menu is excellent for a power lunch. I would recommend the tuna sashimi as an appetizer. Ambiance is exceptional.
Great midtown lunch place!
Rue57 is lively French brasserie. A good place to catch up with friends over lunch or to sip a glass of wine after shopping at Nordstrom's or visiting the Art League. The rocket salad with chicken was light and delicious. The mango sorbet was a nice topper for dessert. Service could be more attentive though.
Slow service, waitress poured wine into our sparkling water and did not offer to replace either. We got an opps instead of an apology. Ordered a side dish that never arrived. All tasted fine, but bummer of a service experience.
We sat outside and there was a bus stop next to us which was annoying otherwise the service and food very good
Table location was lousy. Food mediocre. Service poor. It took about 20 min for the waiter to greet us and take our order. This was during brunch I was there with my goddaughter reuniting after 5 years. When the food arrived drinks were not delivered yet. The restaurant wasn’t really that packed but the waiter looked snd acted overwhelmed. I’ve been going to this restaurant since it opened more than a decade ago and I live around the block. This is the first bad experience with it. The food with was surprisingly lousy as well and the service was deficient. The tab was close to a 100 dollars. I’m not encouraged to go back, unfortunately.
Service was great! The front of house team was able to honor my corner table request. I love a corner table. Drinks arrived accurately and on time and the food and service was amazing. Looking forward to seeing you again real soon.
Thank you for a great date night!
Great quality and service. Disappointed by limited menu due to pandemic. Also was a bit pricey.
Excellent food and service and convenient location.
Elegant and chic place serving French-American fare. Nice location close to Midtown offices and Central Park. Tres Bien!
Consistently excellent food in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Portions are ample and the service is fast and efficient. It’s one of our favorite places to eat in NYC.
Great service and food.
our server was most helpful and personable. our food was superb, especially the salmon. the service was timely.
rue is a reliable neighborhood meeting spot for us. We are so happy for its reopening after a year and a half.
I had a wonderful birthday celebration luncheon as well as many lunches, dinners, cocktails and appetizers. The food, service, ambience and value as always been superb. I highly recommen Rue 57 to everyone, don't blame me if you become a regular we will be happy to have you!
There was no bread, the ran out, also no burrata.
And the service was pretty defficient , the waiter attitude
My go-to spot in the area though this was my first brunch. Wonderful food and service!
Nice ambiance but the service was poor. Took 30 min to get a waiter to come over and when he finally did he was pulled to another table mid-order and then took another 15 min to come. Food was average even after the long wait.
The menus is limited but they’re trying.
They kept asking to take our plate away when there's clearly food left
Service was slow A/C not working
Food was awful had popcorn shrimp soggy and undercooked
Fantastic meal and exceptional service from Steven
We sat outside on a lovely July evening and had a wonderful experience! We had two servers, I cannot remember our initial servers name. He recommended wine for us that we loved! Our second server, Carlos, was so friendly and helpful. We started with popcorn shrimp that was delicious and then had sliders, a burger, and the salmon which were all perfect. To finish, we had the creme brûlée that was DIVINE!!! Would recommend this restaurant for sure!
AC was broken, apparently for a long time. No notice when booked reservation or at check-in.
Have been going to Rue 57 for years! Always have had a great meal! Have been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!! all great!!
Best French Dip sandwich I have ever had!! Great service.
Nice atmosphere and staff but a limited food selection. Food was very average.
Great truffle omelette and best coffee in NYC. Menu is small, but quality is really high.
We chose Rue 57 because of the proximity of the restaurant to our hotel. Well we are so glad that we did! the food was amazing and the service was also amazing. We had a party of three. We all ordered a different entree and then we all shared.
