I have never been there. Went with my wife on Valentine's Day. They had a special prix fixe menu that was excellent and a bargain to boot. Each of the four courses was outstanding and included lobster over risotto and chateaubriand. I don't understand why this restaurant is not better known.
Valentine’s Day dinner. We sat outside on the patio. It rained. No covers to stop water coming in. We had two send back our coffees because they were cold. There were no Valentine’s Day adornments on the patio.
Loved the menu. Variety. Plant-based options. Parking is limited, so valet parking is an option. Ticket validated by restaurant.
Good atmosphere and ambiance.
We sat outside in lovely covered courtyard and were able to converse comfortably with our party. This place is undiscovered but would be a great choice pre-performance to Opera, Theatre, Van Wezel. They have valet parking.
Consistently delicious food.
I would recommend for drinks, but not to dine. I ordered the steak frites with chimichurra sauce. Fair, at best.
I always give new places 2 opportunities. Menu small, food okay. Bar area very attractive we ate outside on a very nice night. Wait staff could kick up their game.
Everything was great. It was a Sunday evening and on a small menu they were out of 5 items which was a huge bummer. Typically I go here often for lunch while working-easy to whiz by and valet for a quick delicious bite. This was my 2nd time for dinner and we will definitely try it again. What we did have was delicious and well presented.
4 people for dinner. We all had different fish dishes and each one was delicious! Service was great on this quiet weekday night. We sat outside, under canopies and we're very comfortable on a humid night. The fans and water features keep the area cool. A delightful evening. We will surely return.

I don’t think I have ever experienced a restaurant with such fantastic food but with such poor service. Wait staff was very polite but I’m referring to the time that it took for each course of food to come out. The restaurant was far from busy and other patrons were visibly complaining as well as to the length of time it took to get appetizers or main courses. Having said that the food was beautifully presented and tasted great

The Artichoke shareable was the best thing we ate followed by our desert, the Chocolate tort with salted caramel ice cream. The rest of the food was lack luster and felt overpriced for what it was. This included the charred red shrimp in some sort of pea puree and the cauliflower. The place was empty on a Saturday night, hard to know what to make of that. Service was good.
Unfortunately, this restaurant booked two of us for dinner at the same time it was having a special event. The noise level was deafening. The special events group took over the entire restaurant. We managed to find a quieter spot out on the patio. My companion ordered ceviche from the "Shareables" section of the menu, which came mushed together in a glass--hardly shareable. I ordered a beet and salmon salad, which was really an appetizer portion, not a salad, and therefore overpriced. There is also no parking except for valet. There is text messaging to order the car, by number, but it did not work for either of us. Too bad, but we won't be going back.
Two hits and a miss -- For starters I had Grilled Octopus with blanched cherry tomatos, hummus, and harissa...it was one of the best presentations of Octopus I've ever had; moist, tender and perfectly balanced with the acid from teh tomato and the spice and texture from teh hummus and harissa; my wife had teh mushroom risotto with was similarly delicious, rich, flavorful ; however we were disappointed in the numeric crusted Tiel fish special; it was very balls. Tender, ffeh but rather tasteless.
We had a fabulous lunch at Rudolphs. We were never there before. The owner/manager come and talked with us and welcomed us. The food was delicious. The menu had a variety of choices. We appreciated the healthy choices and that the choices did not include sugary foods and desserts, (except for the cinnamon doughnut). We will be back again and again. This is one of our new favorite places.
I am the only one of the four of us that looked what I ordered. The worst part is the parking issue. Four deep at the vast, and no public parking anywhere is going to be an issue.
Sophisticated dining in the Rosemary district, Rudolph's is a great option when seeking dinner options.
Because of nearby construction the noise level was unpleasant. We started to sit outside by the pool but quickly realized that was a mistake so we moved inside. Better but not great. Tomato salad with burrata was excellent and big enough to share or have as a meal. Flatbread was uninspired.

Beautiful spot with outstanding food during Savor Sarasota
Menu is very creative but main dining room not open yet so we had to eat in the bar and was very noisy piped in music. Then nice live music started and took them 10 minutes to turn off the canned music. Bar is very bright and they need to dial down the lighting. The space is retro vibe but half the dining chairs were bad rooms to go furniture so perhaps still waiting for rest of furniture. Churrasco was very good with an interesting take on chimichurri but the wahoo special was dry and uninspiring. Very tiny and sad wine list. Will try it again in a few months to give management time to sort out and get staff trained. At the moment just another hotel restaurant but chefs creativity worth another try.

This highly contemporary restaurant & Hotel has great staff. Valet parking is free for those eating at Rudolf's. We visited on Mother's day & were pleasantly surprised how comfortable our dining experience would be. Large tables with overstuffed leather like chairs embraced us while we ate. Our server was knowledgeable & well acquainted with the menu. We had a good meal having reasonable prices. Overall a great experience.
A breath of fresh air in the otherwise stagnant and uninspired local restaurant atmosphere. Rudolph’s is a sign of hope. The design and layout are open, airy, and contemporary without being contrived. The menu is creative and exciting without being overindulgent. The execution matched our anticipation. We will absolutely return... quite soon.
We thoroughly enjoyed this hidden gem. The singer was fantastic and the food unique and delicious.
The skirt steak was amazing, the ambiance and decor we're very cute. Service was very attentive we were in and out in 1.5 hours and we even had to wait on someone, so it moved pretty fast. Everyone really seemed to like the spicy margarita type drink they offer. I would go back just for that steak though even if everything else was bad, it was SO GOOD.
Met friends for lunch, hardly anyone in restaurant. Food was interesting and well presented, but very small portions even for lunch menu.

Delightful experience! Unique presentation of short ribs with polenta was amazing! Housemade balsamic ice cream was delicious! Friendly staff: overall the dining exceeded expectations! Eager to visit again soon!

Superb new restaurant with a creative and delicious menu, drinks, and wine. The appetizers were outstanding, as were the entrees. The Rudolph salad was amazing. Servings were generous, so we shared the "broken pie" dessert, which seemed unusually "light" (the meringue?) for such a rich dessert. The only drawback is the necessity to valet park the car; however, they are quick and make it easy.

We really like the location, and the restaurant ambiance. We ate outside under the full awning which is next to the pool. We really like the food. Clearly the chef is outstanding and creative. The negatives are: the service was very slow and inattentive and the price was high (2 entrees, one soup, 3 drinks, and 1 coffee - $159.00 with tip). I suspect they can fix the service, but not the pricing.

That's one of the restaurants which usually I visit three times: first, last and never again. My worst experience of all restaurants in Sarasota and almost the worst in my life. Overpriced, really bad and extremely small portion food doesn't deserve even one star. Oversalted food, almost not eatable, made by a cook (I wouldn't call him/her a chef) who learned a long time ago that with a lot of salt you can hide all and any disgusting taste of lousy food. Well, sometimes it doesn't work, especially when you overdo it.
The ambient is another bad story. Chipo furniture, with tables and chairs from some really cheap second-hand store and walls covered with the "art" made by some 5-th grader.
I really don't know how did they come up with huge prices even higher than any other restaurant in Sarasota. As a hotel restaurant, it has higher prices than even restaurant at Ritz Carlton.
Personal in everyday casual clothing appears that was forced against their will to work there.
Drinks? Poor selection of overpriced cheap vines and beer $8.00 on tap or $8.00 a can (one which you get for 25 cents in store). They don't have bottled beer at all.
There is only one word to describe this place. It's a "robbery".
All together disaster and I am really sorry for any next guest to this restaurant. However, most of them will visit this place (as I mentioned at the top) three times, first, last and never again.

We were staying at the hotel and had a dog with us so required outdoor seating, which was absolutely perfect. It happened to be Valentine's evening so it was crowded but the service was still flawless. Nice live entertainment also. The dog was quite comfortable in our corner table. We would certainly go back if we lived in town.

We stopped in pre-theatre. The restaurant was beautiful, but empty do we opted to sit in the bar. Our waiter was wonderful, and helped us navigate the menu. The prices for both appetizers and entries are high for Sarasota. We opted to do several appetizers in leu of entrees. The French fries were very tasty, crisp on the outside and the cilantro aioli was very tast We also had the salmon and beet salad and the pork belly. Both were fantastic. I think the best part of our meal was the deconstructed mixed berry pie. I would go back just for dessert.

As you can see, we had a mixed reaction to our experience.
The food was excellent and each of the four of us had a different entree. However we waited an extraordinary long time for our meal... over an hour. This was inexplicable because we were the only people in the restaurant the entire time. The server seemed peeved when we inquired about the food... giving no explanation for the delay. Also, She was unfamiliar with the wine list
