Since 1975, Rudolphs BBQ has been hosting private events for groups as small as 20 or as large as 100. There are several different private spaces available depending on the size of your group. We have professional, enthusiastic staff that would love to make your event “An Affair to Remember.”
View Private Dining DetailsService was slow. But food was great as usual. We were next to a party of 14 so it was extremely noisy and disruptive. It would have been nice if they had put the large party in the main dining room.
Myself and famlily (total was 14) of us came in for a couple of our birthdays- I recommended the rib tips as these are always delicious and tender. However they were definately not as tender as usual. I want to say half of us ordered them and all of us had tough rib tips. It could have been we were there about 1:30 pm and they just did not have enough cooking time to get tender :)
The fiery hummus is my ultimate favorite!
Great BBQ Really good that the parking problems are being addressed at last.
Excellent service and friendly staff. Great ribs!
Service was great but the ribs weren’t as good as it usually is.
Great as always but you need a parking lot for patrons
We love the baby back ribs - best ever! Our server, Mike, was very personable.
We were disappointed that the restaurant no longer serves baked potatoes and wish they would do so again!
I had the baby back ribs, which were absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection.
We had a short wait for our table of 9 due to another large party staying longer than expected. The staff and managers were sincerely apologetic, checked in with us often and even brought us some tasty wings to hold us over as soon as we were seated.
Not only was the food great, they have outstanding hospitality and customer service that will keep us coming back!
Arrived on time and our table was ready. No waiting. Server arrive promptly and explained the specials and took our drink order. The owner stopped by and gave us a complimentary BBQ chicken wings appetizer, very nice touch. Ordered dinner and within five minutes our salads and appetizers arrived. Salads were chilled and very fresh. When dinner arrived the food was hot and all orders were correct. Rudolph's has the best BBQ ribs in the twin cities. Portions were perfect and each member of our six person group was very satisfied. When the server asked if we wanted dessert we were all full. Great evening and great food.
Food is normally 100% good! This time babyback ribs were tough- disappointed!
Our favorite BBQ restaurant for the last 30 years!
Great! Enjoyed the food and service. Would go back again
My husband and I love coming here! The food and the service are always outstanding!
Sorry I can no longer recommend our favorite BBQ joint. Restaurant is run down. Food was cold. Service was fair and the menu has shrunk.
Good barbecue, nice atmosphere and very genuine server.
We were a party of 9. I was there early. Our table was set and waiting. People staggered in over 1/2 hour or so. This was no problem for seating or service. The wait staff was professional and happy. Service was outstanding. Food was excellent. We were fortunate to have Jimmy (owner) join us for a bit. We will definitely dine a Rudolph’s again!
Like the personal touch of the owner stopping by and asking how the meal was. Great service, and Valet service on weekends is a blessing as street parking is limited
Great ribs and brisket. Rudolph's is a Twin Cities institution and is consistently good. If you want quiet as to be seated in the back. Otherwise, the noisy bar is always fun.
This restaurant has been in the Twin Cities for many years. It is a great place for any type of gathering. They have great rubs and bar b que, which is their primary product. If you enjoy that type of food you will enjoy Rudolphs.
I am so sorry to say but they have changed there menu again. Everything is A la Carte, you only get bread with your meal. This use to be a $40.00 meal with my wife, you would get salad, potatoes and your meat. I spent $60.00 we split a salad both ordered chicken with potatoes. The owner of this restaurant use too own St Clair Broiler in St Paul, that is now closed. I see the same thing happening here, Rib and Chicken joints are not A la Carte that is for Steak houses and good ones. I am sad to say I will not be going back until the menu changes back
We dined here with a group of 10, including 2 young children. We couldn't have had a better wait person...Mike, did an excellent job being friendly, attentive and fast. The food was great and we were all pleased. Don't miss the collards! They are an amazing side dish!
Lovely-just lovely on Christmas Eve!
Super slow service and they weren’t busy. The brisket eggrole tasted good, but I couldn’t taste the brisket in it...almost nonexistent. Left after appetizers. Didn’t want to eat dinner after waiting 45 min Doran egg rile with 7 people in the restaurant.
Birthday Dinner
We went to Rudolph's for my husbands birthday with our boys, one that lives in uptown, the other in St. Paul for school. We hadn't be there for over 20 years, and he remembered Rudolphs having the best ribs and wanted to show our kids. The ribs were great, and the brisket was even better. The sides were plenty and tasty, the only thing I think was missing were some healthier vegetable sides in though- so we added a salad to share too. All in all everyone loved it, any very nostalgic for us.
Food was excellent, I ordered baby back ribs1/2 rack. It was more than enough and a side of sweet potato fries, also yummy. My husband ordered he chicken, and said it was delicious. We will definitely go back. There is street parking.
Service was slow even though it didn't appear to have many people there. We were seated in a booth that was very dark, eventually the manager turned on some lighting so that we there was a little light. Food was good. We especially liked the appetizers.
Lunch was served quickly. The sandwiches and fries were fresh and tasty. Our server was friendly and on top of things. Definitely need to visit here more frequently!
Very accommodating! I planned a small intimate family lunch to do a Gender Reveal- I called a week or so in advance to verify we could be separate, so we didn't disrupt other people dining. We were off to the back and had more than enough room for my family of 10. They charge $1.50 per person if you bring in a cake from outside but that wasn't too bad. The food was on time (considering we had a large group of different requests) and really, really tasty. I loved my experience (hope we didn't get on the waitresses nerves too much lol) but I would definitely consider having more dining event here.
Service was really excellent. Food was great. Love the coleslaw!
Coming here for 35 years. Still my "go to" place for ribs.
Excellent food and service!
We go there often and have never had a bad meal or bad service. Noise level is low so conversation is easy
Good food! We had a terrible waiter though. I think he was new so I wouldn't write it off.
Great happy hour.
The food was great and the service was wonderful and I haven't been there in a long time but I forgot how great the place is.
We had a great meal. We met the owner as we came into the restaurant and gave complimentary ice cream to the kids at the end of the meal. Very classy!!
St. Louis style ribs are perfect
I hosted a party of eight on a Friday evening. Ordered baby backs. Didn't seem as flavorful and meaty as previous visits. Left disappointed.
