Discover the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda through the culinary arts. The wheel of Ruchii spins vibrant flavours, exotic aromas to harmonise the five elements and create a taste experience like no other.
Inspired by the Konark Sun temple’s wheels, the six spokes of Ruchii symbolise 6 primary tastes of Ayurveda – Sweet, Sour, Salt, Bitter, Pungent & Astringent; which in-fact are different combinations of “Panchabootha” – 5 elements: Earth, Air, Water, Fire & Ether (space).

                                                        I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ruchi Indian Restaurant in Blackrock, and I can confidently say it was one of the best Indian dining experiences I've had in Dublin. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and inviting ambiance set the tone for a fantastic evening.The staff were knowledgeable, happy to make recommendations, and genuinely eager to ensure we had a great time. Ruchi is a gem in Blackrock. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, it's definitely worth a visit. We’ll absolutely be back soon!

                                                        Restaurant smelled like a bathroom as soon as we entered, assume they noticed or it was brought to their attention as the doors were left open for the rest of the evening. Staff repeatedly dropped cutlery and plates of food. The food was rushed and unfortunately some dishes were unpleasant. Attempted to get the attention of the staff for 30 mins however for much of this time there was no one in the dining area at all.

                                                        Always a lovely welcome, excellent service and lovely food. We had an excellent Dosa to start. My partners main was just okay - lacked a bit of a punch which was disappointing. Overall though lovely evening.

                                                        The best Indian food I've had in the longest of times. Bursting with flavour, fantastic Thali, which was great, each treat perfectly contrasting with those around it... Highly recommended to all! The service was fantastic too - as were the cocktails!

                                                        This is no ordinary Indian restaurant - it’s a bit special with every dish two levels above your average Indian restaurant - but despite that prices are extremely reasonable . From the linen napkins and exquisite cutlery and wine glasses this is as good as you will get - without the prices elsewhere would charge Every dish is a bit special
