Contrary to quickly grilled meats at high temperatures on an open flame, Southern Style Barbecue consists of a gentle slow process where the meat cooks with the smoke generated from the wood fire. I always appreciate eating at Rubs. Their smoked dishes are really good. I used to find it expensive for what we were getting. But with prices going up everywhere else, it appears more competitive now. Plus, they have more lower price options than I remembered. And, best thing, they had availability Friday at 7pm.

It was a great night overall. Funny fact, we asked at least 3 times to the staff for making them change the tv channel. We really wanted to see the hockey game instead of watching it on our mobile phones

very over priced, a platter that was $60 now its much higher and less choices of side orders, PLUS i had to pay $2 for a tiny portion of sauce, and $3 for an other.... this is ridiculous, i would think twice before going to rubs again. very unhappy

A great restaurant. It has beers of all sizes and in different pitcher assortments. Best burgers and ribs in town. Owner is always there making sure everything is running smoothly. Would recommend it to everyone.

j’ai pris le plateau texan. le poulet etais sec,la poitrine de bœuf extra sèche au point que j’avais de la difficulté a l’envaller.la saucisses était correct les cote st-louis aussi.le porc effiloché était bon. je m’aurais attendu a ce qu’il y ait de la sauce à portée de main pour accompagner mes viandes. je ne compte pas y retourner de mon plein grés.

I only provided a lower score due to the wait time of our food. It took about 1.5 hours to receive our food. I can understand understaffed and such, but 1.5 hours is unacceptable, especially when you have 5 hungry kids. If proper expectations were set in advance then the wait time would be on me to decide. Being told our food would be out in 10 minutes repeatedly is not something that makes for a fun night.

As usual American Rubs was outstanding. I choose the double stacked burger and it was just great. It is the best restaurant of it's kind. Without a doubt, the best ribs that you are ever going to find anywhere. Their ribs priced at $25 is 640g where Baton Rouge's ribs priced at $28 is only 454g. That alone is enough to go to Rubs.

Bon service et bonne nourriture. Les portions sont généreuses. Les côtes levées et les frites sont particulièrement bonnes. La chair du poulet frit est très tendre et la peau croustillante, mais celle-ci pourrait être plus assaisonnée. La nourriture est servie chaude, ce qui la rend très savoureuse. Les petites bouchées de flanc de porc frit accompagnant la bière en entrée sont une belle attention.

Was there with a group of 7 on a Saturday night. Excellent food. Excellent service. Only minor complaint was that a booth of 4 was used as part of the table and it was difficult to get in and out because of the tight spacing of tables in the restaurant.

went there 8 buddys of mine they placed in a booth and a table connected at the end,it was very tight in the booth so uncomfortable ,i had the louisanne ribs no taste no sauce on them not very good ,service was great
