RPM Italian - DC
Amazing. No bad options. Everything was top notch.
Delicious food. Love the personality of the waiters. It’s just too cold inside. It’s always too cold inside RPM every time we have eaten there. I didn’t even want to take off my coat. Please turn the heat up!
Waited 30 mins after our reservation time for our table, which appears to be the norm
My experience was phenomenal. Carla G. was knowledgeable about the menu items and suggested a meal that was more than flavorful. Erica P., the wine manager, was truly impressive with her wine knowledge and offered great suggestions that surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend RPM you won't regret it.
I love RPM. It’s fancy and chic and the service is great. The food is mostly delicious and I always feel happy when I order certain dishes. I came during lunch and opted not to do restaurant week - instead we ordered a ton of food off the regular menu. Buyers beware that the portions on pasta are pretty small and pricey.
The carbonara is amazing as is the old school truffle garlic bread. The pepperoni pizza was a miss - $8 and it tasted like school lunch :( the bolognese was good but the chunks of beef were overpowering to the sauce.
The squid ink spaghetti with spicy crab wasn’t spicy and had a very sweet sauce - maybe add a splash of acid to brighten it up? The surprise hit was the spicy broccolini - perfectly cooked with a real kick.
Restaurant Week was a good deal. The food was delicious
Amazing food wonderful service the place is just gorgeous
Always excellent foods and great service.
This was our second time dining at RPM and I have to say that it will be our last time. Our waiter rushed through the menu, and then when we each ordered a glass of wine it took almost 15 minutes till we got them. Once we got them I noticed that there was something floating in my glass....there was a bunch of cork! I sent the glass of wine back and asked politely for a fresh glass, which I did receive and was charged for, which I think should have been comped. The experience was an overall disappointment and left us feeling wanting for more.
Exerything is very nice except for the music is a bit too noisy.
Pricey euro-vibe...worth the cost
Great service! The food was excellent. Our server was beyond helpful with their recommendations towards the menu.
Food and service was good. But it wasn’t very filling and they don’t do anything special like a free dessert for anniversaries. But overall experience was good and definitely recommend for people going ti DC
Amazing from start to finish. The hostess was able to bump our reservation to an earlier time since we were early. The service was impeccable (Thanks Marco!) & the food was amazing. We had the burrata, sea bass, and pistachio desert. Will definitely be back!
Love this restaurant! Went for Restaurant Week. Menu was fantastic. It provided opportunity to try some new foods like their meatballs!
Excellent food and superb service. Always consistently amazing. Such a great addition to the DC scene. I always look forward to coming here and returning.
Other than the fact that it was so cold we had to keep our coats on for our entire lunch, it was an excellent lunch. The service was very good as was the food. I will definitely return. The sea bass was outstanding!
Food and drinks were excellent. Osso Buco was beautiful. Server was nice, attentive and a bit forgetful. Missed one entree but she and the kitchen recovered well. Beautiful restaurant with an upscale atmosphere.
The restaurant week menu was not as good as it was at lunch. For example, the arugula salad did not contain fried artichokes this time, which is the only reason I ordered it. Also, I indicated that this was a birthday but it was not acknowledged.
I love burratta!
Excellent service and great ambience to have a business dinner. Energetic but noise level allowed for conversation!
I hosted a group of friends at RPM for a birthday dinner. Our server, Soo Kim, was beyond gracious and lovely. She made all of us feel like we were the most special people in the restaurant, while at the same time making us feel like family. The food at RPM is good, the prices are a bit steep, but if you are lucky enough to have Soo Kim as your server, then you are in for a very special evening.
RPM Italian never disappoints. Start with the Guiliana Prosecco, so delicious! The chicken parm is the best I have ever had. Loved the Lobster Ravioli as well. The service was excellent, the wait staff is so knowledgeable and was able to accomodate my vegan daughter. The flan cake was a great presentation, and delicious! Overall the food here is excellent. Worth the trip!
Everything was great I did find a hair in my food but they quickly gave me a fresh meal hair free.
Company Xmas get together. Love this place! This is my to go place. Services and food is outstanding.
Great food, service, atmosphere. Little expensive, but we knew that. Will definitely return.
We had a reservation for 8:30pm which we made at least 8 weeks ago, but when we got there, the restaurant was exceptionally busy and even though the staff was doing their best to manage the situation we did not end up getting our table till 9:15. A 45 minute wait is pretty significant and that is why i am giving the overall experience 4 stars.
Had a reservation waited 30 minutes still to be seated after arriving on time. I asked could the accommodate because we were going for a special occasion and refused to make the night special after requesting weeks in advanced. Waited a long time to receive our entree’s wasn’t worth the price point or the experience .
I came here for my birthday dinner and was not disappointed ! The food was fantastic and so was the service . The restaurant also had a fun atmosphere and had current music playing . The menu is designed to share, which is good if you’re going with a group. It is a little pricey but I would say well worth it. I plan to come back again.
We came to celebrate a anniversary and this was such a treat. Wonderful service and my favorite was the mealballs.
I’ve have dined here on several occasions and have a serious crush on this restaurant! Dinner last evening was a birthday celebration for a dear friend, so we were in a festive mood! Once again, RMP did not disappoint! Between the stuffed olives, the humongous prawn, the meatballs, the delish pinot, the braised beef, more Pinot, etc., and the cannoli and the sweetness birthday surprise from the pastry chef, we had a grand time. All of this magic could not have happened without our charming server, Luis, and his excellent service and infectious enthusiasm! (btw Luis is also a native Washingtonian!). All in all, 5 stars! When you go, make sure you get the stuffed olives!
Really like this spot for business dinners. The ambiance is fantastic and the service is great. Food is solid.
great service great food !! best pasta on this side of the ocean
It was delicious! We had family visiting from the west coast and this was a perfect dinner. Thanks again to James for guiding us to the best recommendations on the menu! His service was impeccable and the food checked every box. Will definitely be back soon.
Our waiter was spectacular and the food was delicious as always
Had a great dinner experience at RPM. The waiter, Sean, was so attentive and on top of everything. He was great at explaining and answering all our questions on the menu and for the drinks. We ended spending 3.5 hours drinking and eating. It was such a great vibe that after we closed our tabs we stayed another 90 minutes and reopened a tab for more drinks. We were never rushed and it was very quite for Sunday evening dinner. We sat in the lounge area on the bar side instead of the main dining room. Will be back next week for restaurant week.
Fabulous restaurant. We had an awesome meal, made even better by our sever, Daniel.
