   Although the cheese burger was overcooked, the other dish (pasta with smoked salmon) was excellent and would not stop us from eating there again.

   First time dining at Roy’s, food was very good, lamb chops cooked just as I like and generous pasta dish with a great sauce. Service was ok, couple of young waitresses who did their best, only downside was the manager spent too much time chatting to friends at their tables, and drinking a margarita at the bar. A little more supervision could have benefited the waitresses. Despite this small issue will definitely return.

   Had the loveliest meal Saturday evening. Food was absolutely incredible, cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! Service was excellent, we were made to feel extremely welcome, the owner and the waitresses worked so hard and were so friendly and attentive to us and all their customers, nothing was too much trouble. Great family run restaurant, will be coming back to work our way through your stunning menu!

   We love this local little restaurant but we’re very disappointed with the very scarce amount of toppings on our pizzas at the weekend. We didn’t mention it at the time as we didn’t want to embarrass our guests. We do intend to continue to come to the restaurant but perhaps nit fir pizza anymore. The Roy’s special pizza was a big disappointment, arriving with Harding any topping, (a few slithers of Parma ham and an unappetising ball of mozzarella cheese dumped in its soggy middle.

   This restaurant never disappoints. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and the food is top quality for a local restaurant. Two of our party had pizzas which were cooked beautifully and the rest had lamb and steaks which were cooked to perfection. Our local go-to restaurant. Thank you for an enjoyable time.

   Another delicious meal at Roy's Welwyn, service, food and restaurant all great. Love the starters of mushrooms 😋, lovely seafood spaghetti 😋. Will be returning.
