Welcome to Roy's Ka'anapali! Since opening "the original" Roy's Hawaii Kai in 1988, I have set out to explore "new directions," blending classic European cooking techniques with unique influences of Asia and the Pacific.     This is our family’s final dinner on Maui. We have been doing this for over 5 years. Our server was excellent and very accommodating to our needs. The meals were consistently excellent. We ordered the misoyaki butterfish, the au and grilled shrimp and the prefix meal of shrimp and mahi. My granddaughter enjoyed the chicken tenders and thin, crispy fries. We shared the chocolate cake instead of chocolate tower. Excellent and a consistently great meal and service.

    Our order took a long time, but the kitchen and wait staff recognized it, and made it right with an appropriate discount. Very good food and drinks. Quiet and peaceful experience. Would definitely go there again.

    Service was quite slow, we ended up not being able to order dessert as it would have tacked on an extra 45 mins based on the pace of the evening, plus they no longer had the soufflé chocolate cake which was always a hit during prior visits. Caesar salad was average, the filet was cooked properly but seemed like a lower quality of meat for the $69 price tag. Very affordable dinner menu for the kids. Beef short ribs very good.

    Anyone who thinks Roy's has gone downhill hasn't been there recently. Our food was amazing. The portions are awesome and flavors to die for. Way to go Roy's!

    Sad to see the changes at Roy’s these days. No Lava cake some items on menu not available and quality of foods is not where it used to be. No ahi main course.
