Roy's Beach House at Turtle Bay
The concept and design for the new 140-seat open –air restaurant are a reflection of Roy’s love for white sandy beaches and the ocean. Roy has fond memories of potluck gatherings on the beach with a variety of his family’s favorite dishes- a memory he hopes to create for you at the Beach House.
So please come and indulge in one of our spectacular hand crafted cocktails or choose from a selection of ice cold local beers while you discover the fresh ingredients and outstanding seafood, expertly prepared by our local chefs that have made Roy’s famous.
From your first step into the restaurant everyone is welcoming. Once we were seated somebody immediately brought us water. The server told us about different menu items and made suggestions which was nice. First we got the spring rolls for an appetizer they were so good! The dipping sauce was amazing with so much flavor! I ordered the scallops and they were delicious. My daughter got the short ribs and loved it! She asked for a sauce because she wanted it a little sweeter. They brought some over and it was amazing! The meat is so tender! My daughter and I have come to this restaurant more than Five times since we discovered turtle bay resort!
Great food quality and excellent service. We were celebrating a birthday and they made the occasion special with a table birthday sign and complementary celebration dessert in a lovely plate!
Nice location near the beach. Server was very nice and helpful. Scallops were phenomenal, and you get five!
Thank you for everything! Our evening was top notch!!!
Super expensive and small portions. They also tend to cancel your reservation rather than check you in... don’t know if this was on purpose but it happened 3 times.
Service was phony...addressed as Mr and Mrs...not appreciated.. should have not assumed...may have been with a female colleague or someone else. My wife was insulted.
Food was ok, not up to the price.
This was our first visit to Roy’s Beach House at Turtle Bay Resort. It was a short walk from our hotel. We really enjoyed the salmon poké with avocado and won ton chips. The petite filet mignon was the best ever. So tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. Always order their misoyaki butterfish at any of Roy’s restaurant- so delicious! The vegetables served with it was a little too vinegary for me though.
The hot lava soufflé with vanilla ice cream and the slice of birthday cake gave the right touch to the end of our celebration.
They were busy but they kept assuring us to take our time. Didn’t feel rushed to end our evening.
The wait staff were very attentive. Never had an empty glass waiting for a refill.
Overall a very nice evening to remember!
Beautiful place. Staff as one might expect. The entree was okay. We had calamares. The main was a disgrace for the meat. The filet mignon at itself was fine. Why does the chef ruin it with so much spices? Even though I requested to be poor with the spicing, the fine meat was splattered with all kinds of stuff. In that way you don't realy taste the filet. What a pity.
Amazing view while you eat an even better meal! Great environment and vibe as well, will definitely come back when visiting again
Cannot say enough great things about Roy's at Turtle Bay. I took my wife here for our first anniversary, and really wanted it to be special. We enjoy fine dining, but stepping it down just a bit for something equally as delicious and special but a tad more casual seemed a good idea. We sat right by the beach (which they'll give you if you ask in advance when making a reservation), and ordered the curried Brussel sprouts, the kampachi, the sea bass and the filet. They change the menu often so perhaps not all of that will be on yours, but all of it was incredible. I think the curried Brussel sprouts were one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. Service was impeccable. We went the next day for lunch, which was great as well.
Len provided incredible service. Highly recommend anyone to visit and ask for him.
We had great service, there was a singer there who was very good and really enhanced the evening with soft music.
The food was outstanding. We started off with the sashimi appetizer and the portion was 12 slices of 3 kinds of fish. I had the scallops for my meal and they were huge and very tender. The pineapple upside down cake is a must. We also tried the chocolate soufle and I love chocolate but that pineapple cake was hands down the best.
Great food, and excellent service! Bit
But remember this is Roy's on the Beach!
Fantastic open air venue set right on the sand. Excellent service with attention to detail. Food was exception and nicely finished off with the Pineapple Upsidedown cake.
The food is amazing! The service is top notch! The location is spectacular! A for sure good dinner and incredible experience!
We had an awesome experience at Roy’s Beach House at Turtle Bay. The food was outstanding! The Kauai prawns were cooked to perfection, the Brussel sprouts were a hit and the Misoyaki opah (moonfish) was delicious. Service was on spot! The waiter knew the menu and was well versed to make suggestions and answer any questions we had. You can’t beat this ultimate Hawaiian dining experience. Sitting adjacent to the beautiful sandy beach with just the right amount of breeze (Mother Nature was responsible for that one). I would recommend Roy’s Beach House to anyone looking for a great casual Hawaiian dining experience.
The food was DEFINITELY not worth the price.
Superb meal and service in a romantic, casual setting right next to the beach, with torches lighting the path to get there. Very attentive waitress. Had the macadamia crusted Opia fish, with potato and leak Rosti, asparagus and lobster essence, along with. Blueberry cream brûlée. Cocktails good but at the top end, price wise.
Staff all very pleasant & welcoming, but the overall food experience was just ok. We love Roy’s & I think that’s what we were expecting. The drinks & dessert were good, but turkey club sandwich wasn’t up to Roy’s standard. The turkey was fatty & the bread was dry as a bone & it didn’t have much flavor. It was a lunch stop, honestly we’ve had tastier clubs for 1/2 the price. Maybe it was an off day?
We have taken our mainland guests to Roy's Beach House because the staff and the food never disappoints, of course being next to the beach doesn't hurt either.
Great food and excellent service. Pricey but expected that at the finest restaurant on North Shore of Oahu. The lamb was outstanding.
Great dinner. Table seating a little too low. Needs new cushions.
Great view. Great food. Great service. Yummy cocktails.
Food is delicious, but a bit pricey.
Can't beat the location or the Hawaiian atmosphere. Food was great although slightly pricey. But, you are paying for the outstanding experience.
The food was outstanding and sitting on the beach on the North Shore of Oahu while we ate this terrific meal was magical. I would definitely go back. A must for anyone who loves a really good meal with an ambience that is unbeatable.
Couldn't be bettet
Beautiful view! The atmosphere and food was amazing.
Honestly, this was our worst meal on the the North Shore. I ordered fish, it was overcooked and very bland and the rest of my party wasn't thrilled with their dinners.
Roy's in the US tries to screw up when u order a gift certificate- us Roy's certificate is not good in Hawaii. The US Roy's tells u it is
Fantastic ambiance and service. The brussel sprout and calamari small bites were fantastic. We would eat here again.
Fantastic outdoor seating with ocean view. Laid back atmosphere. Great food and great drinks.
After visiting Roy’s in Waikiki we decided to try the beach house whilst on the north shore. We weren’t disappointed. Amazing food, great service and a great evening out. Easily one of my favourite restaurants on Oahu
I used to love Roys but it’s really gone downhill. Very mediocre food for the prices. Food trucks are better
Lovely beachside menu- staff very attentive . Wine was lovely as were cocktails! Fantastic water views
Simply exquisite! Staff was so informative and food superb!
The staff was excellent. They were able to modify the dishes to be gluten free and even had wonderful gluten free dessert options. This is an excellent place and they do a wonderful job accommodating for allergies!
The food at Roy’s was superb as always with the exception of the hair in the chocolate soufflé. The service was horrific. Our waitress was “off” and checked out. My son’s meal arrived 35 minutes before the rest of the family. Next came my husbands 20 minutes early and then after waiting another 20 minutes we got dinner. We preordered soufflés but the waitress forgot to submit so we waited another 25 minutes. We waited for water constantly. We finally started asking the water waiter for drinks at which he replied it was the waitress’s job. When the manager came around to ask how our meal was we told him about the waitress and timing upon which he replied “oh”. Will not go again
Vacation. The filet was perfect. Sushi was fabulous.
