   Beautiful restaurant and very friendly professional staff. They actually moved us to a better table when a window opened up. The food was excellent and view absolutely stunning.

   The tea service was nice but nothing special. The wait staff are charming & engaging and make you feel welcome. What you’re really paying for is the amazing view.

   My Family and I were very excited to experience Afternoon Tea at the Royal Stewart Dining Room, in the Prince of Wales Hotel. The hotel enjoys a commanding view, perched on a hill facing Waterton Lake. It retains the elegance and charm of a grand old mountain lodge and feels like one is stepping back in time. The ambience is warm and inviting but the views are breathtaking, with uninterrupted, sweeping views across the lake to the majestic mountain backdrop. The staff are dressed in highland attire and are wonderfully trained in the art of serving a proper afternoon tea. The food and the selection of local Banff teas, are absolutely first class from presentation through fragrances to flavour! This really is the ultimate in authentic old school Rocky Mountains Grand Hotel dining. We loved this gastronimic time travel experience and can throroughly recommend it!

   Our time at the dining room for High Tea was amazing! Our waitress Reegan was lovely and the food was not only delicious but the right amount too! Great value for what you get.

   The afternoon tea in the Stewart dining room was wonderful! The building has so much history and the view can’t be beaten! There was lots of food, unlimited tea and overall I would recommend it as a lovely change from the hiking in the area. It was a highlight of our visit for sure!!

   The Food and service was absolutely amazing, Ashley our server was fantastic, she was so detailed in her service and explaining the details of every meal. She was great at convincing us on how great the features of the day would be. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy more of the wonderful food they create here. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere, the food made it feel like we were eating a home cooked meal.

   Even though it was the last afternoon tea of the season, it was pretty busy. I’m glad I booked a reservation. Service and food were excellent.

    Feel special with a booking for high tea and enjoy an afternoon the way our Mother County England has for centuries. It is a modern way to be treated like royalty without the old confinements of expectation. The flavors will endlessly wow your palate and the service is sure to please as everything is explained to you in great detail.
