Our beautiful Port Jackson fig tree creates the centerpiece of the space, providing cover and warmth from the unpredictable Melbourne weather. UPPER-LEVEL BAR: Our upstairs space is perfect for cocktail style functions for up to 180 guests and is available to hire exclusively Sunday through Thursday all day, and until 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays. No I would not. Noone attended to us. Left to go and eat somewhere else. Noise levels were so high.

Just for drinks - food is so so Ricotta Gnocchi was very bland and cost $24 dollars - value was very minimal

Recommended by our Melbourne resident son, we dined here on a typically cold winter’s night. Easy to get to using public transport from our East Melbourne hotel. The dining area was crowded, we were late and it appeared our reserved table was in the outside area. Staff quickly found some empty space indoors, and rearranged one long table into 2 tables. Whilst waiting we observed we were the oldest diners, but there was a good mix of age groups, and the noise, whilst moderately loud, was not too much. Service was good, staff observant, but execution patchy. Whilst I thought it was due to how busy the hotel was, turned out the wines ordered had to be found. The explanation was volunteered, not solicited. Staff interacted well with each other, and relaxed as the evening progressed. The hotel has a good drinks menu, but, not being a pizza fan (7 choices), I thought the 12 main courses was restrictive. We settled the Antipasto platter to share, followed by gnocchi and I had the pappardelle, which was more spicier than expected. A bit too much for both of us, so we walked it off, instead of catching the tram on Church Street. Recommendation is validated.

We were told that Pizzas were half price between 5 and 7pm when we booked, but then this wasn't honoured when we had our meals.

Pizzas were great, voted best Margherita in Melbourne! Service was very good, staff made sure our drinks were topped up regularly

Good atmosphere and vibe. Excellent service. Highly rated how parma and pot was $20 before we went to the footy. Hard to find in Melbourne these days. Would come back.

Nice for groups. Head waitress/FOH was a bit rude, didn't feel like she wanted to look after us. Other than that it was a nice venue and good food. Would go again.
