   Hard to evaluate our experience to be fair as unfortunately we were the only people in the restaurant at lunchtime. The restaurant was laid out really nicely, our table wasnt in the nicest position - was near tbe back not the bright window area -but I assumed it was because the others were already booked for later so didn't query. I should have as we were there to celebrate a birthday as noted on our booking. I'm sure it would be a better experience when a little busier and so be more atmosphere. Glad we were a 4 not a 2!

   Underwhelming We tried three times over the past 8 years. Each time we decided we would bother again.

   Good food, but waited over an hour for starters then an hour's for mains! 1 server on here own with what was clearly a busy Saturday service!!

   Table not ready on arrival, 25 mins wait for a menu, drinks orderd, tea arrived No milk, White wines took further 15 mins, Then took food order, 34 mins wait for starters no dips just empty pots, Also no plates so further 4 minute wait for plates, cleared plates 31 mins wait for mains, over cooked and stale fat in fryer, (needed a change). onion rings missing, reminded waitress she said coming now! we ate meal 5 chips and a mouth full of chicken left! The onion rings arrived, (again cooked in the stale fat from the fryer) tasted awful! ate half of one onion ring only, then plates cleared, sat waiting a further 35 mins, no desert or coffees offered, we were again ignored! in end I got up queued at bar and paid in disgust. It could not have been worse. No concession was asked for or given, we just simply will never go back to a pub we have used for 43 years as we moved to Kinnerton back in 1982.

   Only one member of staff in the restaurant, but the service he provided was excellent.

   Nice country pub. Very accommodating. Menu is varied. Took elderly mother for lunch.

   Booked a table for lunch. Booking asked if we wanted the bar or dining area. Selected dining room as we wanted somewhere quiet. When we arrived there was no sign of anyone around to show us to the table. Eventually found someone and were told we couldn't use the dining room and would have to go in the bar area. Looked in there and was confronted by loud thumping music. A couple in there already told us that you have to order everything and pay at the bar. Also commented about their dislike of the noise. Decided not to eat there if this was the way they treated customers so left and went elsewhere . Not likely tu return.

   Beautiful food and gorgeous country pub. All food was freshly made and really tasty. Visited with my friend and her little girl and we all loved our meals. Would definitely recommend

    Well cooked food, good, friendly service. Comfortable "old-fashioned" pub. Chose to eat in the bar this time, but there is also a very nice dining room. Menu is "pub" food rather than fine dining. Lunch menu a bit limited and only a small number of lighter options available.
