   I was searching for a Chinese restaurant near SFO after picking up my Partner at SFO. Royal Feast showed up near the Millbrae BART/Caltrain station with good reviews. We enjoyed four dishes - MuShu Pork, Walnut Shrimp, Fish and Eggplant and a delicious Dan Dan Noodles with bok choy and a spicy broth.

   we were a party of 4 and only people dining in at lunch. it was friends birthday so we ordered Peking Duck, Squirrel Fish, pea shoots with garlic, cumin lamb, chong qing chicken and some noodles. Everything came out fast but was unfortunately just ok. The Peking Duck was the biggest disappointment, it tasted old, dried out skin not adequately laquered or crisp. The squirrel fish sauce was cloyingly sweet and drowned out all other flavors in the delicate flash fried fish. The other more common dishes were better in flavor and execution but of varying portion value. For example, a lot of filler onions and peppers in the lamb dish and not a lot of lamb. Would be fine as a quick lunch special rice plate, but would not recommend for any true "feast."

   The food is very good and the service was fine. The only thing I noticed when they got busy the service went to slow.

   What a find! The food and service at Royal Feast are amazing. I can’t recommend it enough.

   This is a genuine Chinese restaurant and you can see and feel the warmth and attention from the owners. Most other customers were Chinese, and we felt welcome. The Peking duck was excellent and the portions huge. Very good value for money. Just come hungry and do not expect Americanized Chinese food.

   I really liked their crab asparagus soup. Also their beef cow fun was very nice. I always order the spring rolls-fresh. The didn't disappoint. I'll definitely go there again.
