   An intimate, beautiful evening! Carefully crafted, delicious cocktails, and one of the best cheese plates we’ve ever had, with attentive service and warm hospitality to match, made our evening at Royal Boucherie very special indeed! Come for the bespoke bartending, stay for the late-hour charm. Definitely coming back for brunch.

   I reconnected here with a friend for brunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was good, and ambiance is nice (love the details in the bathroom!). It is very dark inside, however (which is not necessarily a bad thing), so I was pleasantly surprised to see an open-air patio upstairs, as well as brighter windows. Will return for a summer dinner al-fresco!

   The food was mediocre. I’ve been here before and it’s been better. The burger was small and seemed like a frozen patty. The omelet was pretty blah. The frites are always good.

    I had a wonderful time at Royal Boucherie- everything we ordered was delicious, the server was very attentive despite having several tables she was waiting on simultaneously, the bartender kept the drinks coming, and the hostess was charming.

    Food and wine was delicious. The steak tartare was amazing. Escargot, mussels, cassoulet, and foie grais were all exceptional. The service was good up until the check in which they messed up after running my card and I signed off. It took about 20 extra minutes to get void the first check and get the new one. We eat very close to the bar which got pretty loud. Next time I make date night reservations, I will request to sit someplace quieter. We will definitely be having date night here again though.

    A nice cozy nook with dark wood, slightly rustic tables and flooring, dim lighting, candles, and old brick walls. The classic bistro fare includes hearty peasant dishes like cassoulet and duck confit. The raw bar is basic with oysters only. But they are great oysters. The cassoulet was lovely, and the duck confit was perfectly meltingly soft but crisp on the outside. The moules were very well prepared with a tasty garlic broth. Could have done without the random tomato pieces that lurked among the mussels though? Why? The star of the evening was the unexpectedly brilliant duck fat fried frites, however. We ordered more. They were crispy brown and luscious. We ate all we could fit. The desserts were nice. Creme brulee and chocolate mousse. Just nice. The wine list is good with a broad selection and selections at all price levels. A MAJOR gap was the lack of muscadet by the glass at a restaurant that boasts oysters as a first course. Its the classic wine for oysters but hardly the bottle one would choose for a dinner of cassoulet and duck confit and charcuterie to follow. Overall a place we would gladly come back to.

    Delicious, well presented food. Wonderful ambience and service. Love this place, a frequent dinner spot for date night and with friends for me. You HAVE to eat here if you have not already.

    Food was good but gave such small extras like a quarter of a lemon for oysters, two tiny slices of bread for a shared app between three people of escargot and the “fresh berries” on the desert were two blackberries. But everything was delicious.

    Good French bistro food. Very, very noisy on a Saturday night - primarily because of the acoustics of the room and the lively conversations. It did quiet down a bit later. They were a little short-handed, but the staff worked hard to keep things moving and they did a great job. At about $120 a head including a couple drinks, a decent bottle of wine, a 20% tip and tax, it was a pretty good value.

    Not a lot of choices for pescatarian Had the mussels which were good and served with French fries. Bread to soak up the liquid would have been good but not served. The shells were not cleared and there was only a flat plate to put the discarded shells. A bowl would have been much better. The other selections of salmon and branzino were choices that i Havel frequently. Iwas hoping for something different

    Food was very good but the servings size was extra small. They didn’t bring bread and we shed many times and it eventually and. A French restaurant depends on good bread Drinks were great too

    It’s not a good sign when you leave a restaurant still hungry and spent almost $100. Granted, we did have 2 drinks on our bill. Portions were small and definitely pricey for what you got. Food itself was fine but probably not someplace I would go back to.

    We had the Escargot, mussels & frites, Lyonnaise salad, Branzino - all quite delicious. Wonderful service from an attentive, very welcoming server. Great cocktails from the bar, great choices for wine by the glass. Really enjoyed a relaxing, delicious meal. All around, a gem.

    Food was delicious - and hot! I think a manager (or more senior staff member) saw that our initial server was rather overwhelmed by the number of guests/parties who all seemed to arrive and enter right at the same time, and she deftly swooped in and took on our table, for which I was grateful. Very well timed, well prepared food, pleasant service. All was great!

    I dig this place. we had the loveliest waitress. so funny ad spot on service! wish I caught her name. this place doesn't disappoint. I have been here at least 8 times in the last couple years!

    Delicious food and great ambiance. Having just returned from a trip to Paris, I was really impressed with the quality and authenticity of the dishes here. We had a wonderful evening and will be back again for sure.

    Went to celebrate New Year’s with friends. We had the All-Day Brunch and ordered some drinks. We also ordered the Charcuterie and they were delicious. We had the burger, croque madam and mushroom crepe. The food was okay. We also ordered some desserts, that we liked. Overall, it was just ok. Another thing, our server doesn’t look happy to serve us.
