Food was very 'meh'. The gemelli tasted good but lacked umph. Needed salt. The duck was very fatty and not particularly crispy skin. The sauerkraut needed salt and herbage to take it to the next level. Everything was well cooked but all in all was lacking
Great service, good food, great wine! We will be back.
Our server was polite but very slow with communicating and he did not take care of maintaining regular follow up with our table. I was not impressed with my dining experience primarily for this reason.
Kind of upscale funky. Wait staff was extremely attentive. We ordered a bunch of small plates for a kind of tapas experience. Everything was delicious . Creative cocktail and wine list as well . Located in a fun vibe neighborhood.
My wife and I will definitely be going back

We had a reservation and we were offered several choices for our outdoor seating. Big plus!
Our waiter (in reality only and order taker as all serving was done by others) was very friendly and not pushy when we asked for more time before ordering. Food was pretty good except one dish not really to our taste. After the food was served things went downhill. First the "order taker" never returned to ask if anyone would like wine with their meal. After having our water bottle taken to be refilled we had to track down wait staff to get another bottle. When we had finished our meals the dirty plates were never removed and after 15 minutes the "order taker" returned, looked at our table and asked "are we ready for another round of drinks?" When we declined the check was on the table within 30 seconds. No mention of dessert ever. No mention of coffee ever. The worst part is I know how much the food service industry has suffered in the last year and felt compelled to leave 20%. Under different circumstances it would have been 10% or less. If I want to sit in front of dirty plates I can do that at home.
Wife’s b day dinner. Cozy and quaint when seated inside. Good environment and vibe for a date for 2.
Octopus starter and cod main course were as good as any I have ever had. The service and ambiance were also both exceptional.
Things got a bit chaotic with the storm outside that eventually forced us to leave the terrace but the service was ultra attentive and everything was handled very nicely, including some free deserts following a delay with our entrees. Food was lovely although the crudo portions could have been bigger.
One of my favorite places in old city!
Always the best service and food you will never be disappointed!
The burger was meh. But when I took it off the bun it was much better. The cod was, well, cod. It is such a mild fish I wish they had done something to take it up a notch or two. Fries are a little limp for my liking
The bar was GORGEOUS! Dark woods great atmosphere.
Our waiter was just the right blend of there when you need him, not when you don’t.
Love this place. Always have a great meal and a great time here.
Drinks, service? Amazing. Food? Deeeeelicious! Love, love, love this place!!!
We were surprised such amazing food was to be had in a pub like setting. We shared several plates and every one was absolutely delicious.
The food is very expensive for what you get. The seafood tray did not offer a lot and the days scallops crudo for 15$ was tasteless and very small. I asked for a piece of bread and butter because in France you eat oysters with it and they say yes for the bread but no butter. I found it very odd. I will not return to this restaurant. But I had to stay that the wait staff was great and very attentive.
Service was wonderful; only overshadowed by the food and the Garden Patio venue. Highly recommend for all occasions big, small, and in between
Madison made our experience very enjoyable. She explained the menu in full detail and gave her best recommendations for which wine pairs best with our food choices. Definitely a place that we'll return to.
Great food and service
The restaurant is amazing and food delish! Service was average but this seems to be happening everywhere :-( We had a great dinner though and it was great to be out.
Oyster were outstanding, foie was fantastic, and cocktails were delish. Skip the escargots…the broth is a bitter watery bath and not one might expect with a description of ramp butter. The summer squash has a bland romesco paired with it. Service was good.
If you appreciate unique and adventurous cocktails, you'll love this place. Highly recommend the spritzer bar - I chose a Pavan base, ginger modifier, and sparkling white wine topper.
Three gals had a super night out thanks to the super-fantastic folks at Royal B. We ordered almost all of the vegetable dishes , charcuterie, cheese, scallop and octopus and snacked all night. (the squash with romesco sauce was the stand out dish of the evening).
The staff was particularly helpful in crafting some custom spritzers from their fun spritzer bar, a must to check out when it's hot out.
Oh, and the desserts were really awesome, pistachio ice cream and warm chocolate cake were favorites.
Kind of loud in a good way, an all around great Friday night with friends.
The table was too close to others and the service was very slow.
We opted for mostly small plates because there were so many good choices. Oysters & lobster cocktail to start. Foie gras terrine and pork terrine are both very good. Octopus with butter beans and bresaola was outstanding. Escargot was ok - the ramp butter was delicious but the snails kind of meh. We enjoyed the mussels but remembered them being better on a previous visit - hard to say. The Castelvetrano olives are so good we'd go back just for them. It's a nice atmosphere - dark, nice bar, cozy booths. Our server was great and they were busy. The only complaint is that it was really warm where we were sitting near the front of the restaurant. It got uncomfortable as the evening went on. It seemed to be cooler further back.
Nigel, our server was fantastic!! She made the evening with great recommendations and attentive service. Little too dark inside and too warm- expected better air conditioning inside. But overall it was a nice experience. Great wine!!
We enjoyed everything we ordered. Only problem was that it was VERY hot inside we guess because the front windows and door were wide open. Hard to enjoy cocktails and food when you're perspiring profusely!
Wonderful service and really sweet extra touch (champagne for our anniversary) made it a special night out.
The service and atmosphere was good but we had a bad experience with the food. It took over 40 minutes to come out and was super salty. Our waiter handled the issue well and took the dish off our bill.
Best burger I’ve ever had.
The food was very good. My only issue was that the descriptions were not accurate. I assume that the specials were entre portion but they were not the fettuccine Bolognese which I presume was a entree was actually in my opinion an appetizer portion I disappointed in this.
Love it. Staff treated us so well and accommodated my special requests. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my engagement. Thank you so much to everyone at Royal Boucherie!
Everything was perfect!
Service wasn’t good. Some food was great and some were disappointing. Lobster was bland, escargot was bland.
Beautiful out door dining and the staff was so friendly! They made our night so memorable, we would be happy to come back again
Amazing spot for a relaxing dinner, if the weather is nice do the upstairs patio!
Awesome food, atmosphere and service!
Delicious French food with lots of unusual twists. The spritzer cocktail menu is a must. Can’t wait to go again!
Great food and service.
Food, better than ever - service, perfect - friendly and efficient.
We’ll keep coming back!
We used to be come once or twice a year since opening and haven't been back since re-opening. It was to our biggest surprise to see the drop in the food quality. Service was great, but once focused on what is on the plate: too salty, no cares in plating, and quality of ingredients dropped. Truly hope a change will happen because this place was great and still has potential.
