Great brunch option. Menu is diverse with some really fun offerings. We will be back. The sweet bologna sandwich is outstandingly creative and delicious, as were all of the meals our group had.
We did feel a bit rushed by the server, although he was very attentive and nice. Knowing the price point of the restaurant, I would caution that when a patron states, they haven’t decided yet, then give them space. It is a small quibble though, he was very good.
I felt a bit crowded where we were seated, especially knowing that there were empty tables and booths in the back and center areas which were never used.
Getting those things out of the way, the food was delicious! The pork chop special was one of the best pork chops I’ve ever had. A nice selection for the charcuterie board. The escargot was delicious and good oysters. The drinks were made very well too. Steak frites cooked to perfection. The linguine with mushroom ragu was the minor disappointment. I felt it needed a bit more salt, and it was a tad greasy. That being said, it had substantial flavor and I ate every bite.
At the end of dinner, we were all very pleased! Thank you for a great night!

The food was fantastic! Stellar service and loved eating on the “rooftop” where the noise level was quiet to moderate. Burger was one of the best I’ve ever had.

We came on spur of the moment, happy that we could get in to enjoy a nice meal. The atmosphere is charming as expected, and the dinner crowd had good energy. Our starters (Steak Tartare, Fois Gras Terrine) were excellent and tasty. We split the main (roast Branzino), which was done perfectly and presented in a super-yummy sauce, along with a tasty salad. The server was helpful with her suggestions on the fish special and the the wine, and took good care of us. We really enjoyed our evening here.
Perfect date spot!
Remarkably attentive service made all the more commendable because of our compressed schedule. We were accommodated throughout. Despite a modest delay in food delivery to the table, our every need was anticipated, including replacing flatware without request. The mostada on the foie gras terrine was not to my liking and the dish was removed from our bill without request or objection. I would return for the escargots alone, but the cocktails, oysters, and steak frites were all excellent. I look forward to my next visit.

Great food and service experience. Wasn’t the exact type of food we were expecting for French but was delicious and the offbeat nature of it was a welcome change! The escargot sauce was soooo good, the charcuterie and fromage plate excellent, and burger really special.

We had an 8:30 reservation and arrived early. A couple came in after us, with an 8:15 reservation, and were seated immediately, as it should be. the hostess/manager apologized profusely, explaining the reservation, which cause my wife and I to laugh. We were seated promptly at 8:30, and our server, Madison, was amazing. The perfect balance of attentive to our needs, and respecting our space during a date. We had cocktails and wine, ordered oysters and a cheese board, and as we were taking our night slow and laid back, we finally decided on some entrees. A short while later, the manager came over, and apologized again. There had been an emergency in the kitchen, and they were unable to make our dinner. More wine, desserts, and incredible attention was paid to us, and through all that....plumbers rushing through the kitchen. They called us the next day to apologize again, and invite us back.
Emergencies happen, and burst pipes are out of our control. How they handled it, and the amazing food and drinks both before and after made it easy to deal with. Would I return and try again...yes, because of the amazing staff. From the food runners, to the service staff, and the management, taking a busy Friday night with a full house and an emergency in the kitchen and making us feel important. We can not wait to return.
Went for our anniversary. Thought we were sitting upstairs on the deck but they said it was closed. You have to specifically ask for that location. We sat outside on the street instead which was fine.
Has a great meal of appetizers. Four gras terrine, scallop crudo, steak tartare, broccoli then mussels. All delicious! Ordered nut tart for dessert, and our wonderful waiter Wade brought us extra dessert for a treat, profiteroles.
Wade was great: knowledgeable, friendly and provided excellent service. They’re lucky to have him.
Nobody there sat in a booth felt safe. Have to show vax card. Dinner very good mussels better last time but still delicious and oysters great. Drinks good too . Definitely go back

We really enjoyed the full dining experience at Royal Boucherie. We dined while we were in town visiting from the DC area. We sat on the covered patio and, although it was raining quite hard outside, the space inside was cozy and dry. It was actually kind of nice listening to the rain as we enjoyed our meal and the outstanding service that we were provided. We enjoyed testing our hands at building our own negroni with the guidance from our waitress (delicious). The food was fabulous from start to finish.
Delightful ambiance and conversation level noise--yea! My salad was very salty. The shrimp cocktail was severed in a little bowl that forced using your fingers. I prefer a plate, which was happily provided. My husband had the trout which suffered under too much sauce. Wine list leans toward expensive. Ok, but not in a hurry to return.
We’ve been once before on NYE and had such a great time! We came back this week for a date night, but it turned into a special occasion. We got engaged at the end of the night on the second floor garden rooftop! Our server was incredibly sweet and so excited for us! Thank you for creating a perfect setting! Royal Boucherie will forever be special for us and we plan to be back soon!

The fact that vaccinations are required to eat indoors is a very much appreciated benefit to dining there.
It was my wife’s birthday dinner and we celebrated with some friends that were in from out of town. Our server was great and the ambience was perfect for a nice dinner out with friends. We’ll definitely come back!
Ambience was good for dates. But food was slow (1 hr for entrees to come) and extremely salty. Had the potential to be a 4/5 but the level of salt was frowny and we (2 ppl) drank 4 pitchers of water. Portion size on the smaller side. Probably wouldn't come again.
This was our first time at Royal Boucherie. We had a fantastic experience. Everything ordered was amazing. We particularly enjoyed the foie gras, steak tartare and steak frites. Service was outstanding. We were very happy that our server didn’t make us feel rushed. Too many restaurants rush guests out so they can flip the table. This is one of the few places that didn’t make us feel this. This is now one of our favorite restaurants.

Everything was really amazing—I’ve never been a fan of oysters but I’ve officially been converted. My first time trying steak tartare and it was fantastic. They had a focaccia on the specials menu that might have been the best bread I’ve ever had, and a crudo special that we had to order again because it was so good. Ask for recommendations from the bar tenders and servers, everything they told us to get was spot on. If we could have changed one thing, we wished the apple pie was served warm.

Amazing food and service
This is the second time I've been here, the first being before COVID-19, and I have to say that their quality did NOT drop off. Everything tasted delicious, and it generally felt very special being there. I will definitely be back.
Anniversary! Decent French food. Have had better in the city. A little disappointed. Drinks great. Charcuterie nice but wooden board was soapy so you you tasted that with the meat and mustards. (They kindly comped it). Bread was stale! Scallop crudo was amazing but wow basically 2 scallops for a lot. Squash was tasty. Sat in the middle of the street not under the nice patio seating but in between restaurants. No ambiance. Street lights were our dining companions.
Ambiance was great, service was great even though our server was very busy. I'd say generally some of the plates weren't the best tasting - the seafood linguine was too salty and a lot less food than expected. The charcuterie board was a little underwhelming. Cocktails were good! I'd be willing to go again, and order new things instead.
Very disappointing experience. Food was ultimately good, but took a good two hours for our entrees to come out to us. Not only were things delayed, but it felt like we were being ignored by our wait person and got little explanation for the delay other than a "sorry the kitchen is backed up today" when the food finally did arrive. On top of that we ordered a vegetable to go with our entrée, that was given to us about an hour before the entrees, and was of course then cold once the entrée arrived. I understand a lot of restaurants are having staffing issues these days, but the way this was handled was unacceptable for a restaurant of this reputation and cost.

My husband and I went here doe date night. Servers were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Food was excellent especially the oysters
we sat upstairs in their all season garden area, small but really cute. there was a larger party and a few tables with people on dates so it’s a good spot for any type of occasion. our waitress was very nice and attentive. we got the cheese board and they all tasted great - no funky picks. the entrees were O.K.. I got the cheese burger ($1 more for a tomato - weird) and it came with arugula which i personally didn’t like so I took it off and it tasted better. we also got the mussels which were good; and the steak tartare which was recommended to come medium rare and we asked for medium but it was still red. overall nice place and good service. will definitely come back
