It’s a golf course pub. With pretty good food. The description makes it sound kinda country cluby. It’s not. Super casual, tv playing sports everywhere. Shame on me for expecting more. My lamb was very tasty although ordered medium rare and it was cold raw in the middle. Crab mango salad was presented excellent and was enjoyed the same. If your feeling like a casual place away from the Bah Mar crowds a ok alternative
We came for the Steakhouse burgers. They were yummy, though eating outside was a challenge with the flies. Knowing this we asked for sterno to chase them away. It wasn’t enough.
Our negatives that night were the choice of music played which just doesn’t meet the sophisticated, relaxing vibe of the place and the service which is less than attentive. While I think the staff was friendly, they did not check on you enough.
We may try again.
This was a wonderful place!!! The food was absolutely AMAZING!! Their calamari was probably one of the best I have ever had. The service was wonderful! I would def recommend this place!
We really enjoyed our dinner at the Royal Blue. The food and service were very good. Our server did get a little busy and another server took over. Both were fun and efficient. We also had well made drinks.
We returned for lunch before golf the next day and then had drinks after. All very good. The staff is outstanding. Lovely spot overlooking the golf course.
Views beautiful. Food ok - though the nachos were amazing. Service very slow - as with other Baha Mar restaurants our waitress just disappeared.
We had 830 reservations and when we got there we were told that the kitchen closed at 8 so they just put something together to serve us
Nice place to go when staying at the Baja Mar.
Excellent food and service
This is a casual meal at a country club. It felt odd to be funneled there by the Baja Mar when we weren’t golfing. There isn’t really any ambiance other than the after golf ambiance. The food was good but, unlike all the other Baja Mar restaurants, the server was clueless about food allergies. I’m gluten free and was assured that the lobster tacos were gluten free. They were wheat tacos with breaded lobster. (I was very impressed with all the other restaurants - they knew everything and made special changes above and beyond what I would have expected). Also, there were very few people here.
Service was slow to non existent.
The meal took some time but overall it was a great experience. The food was delicious and presented just beautifully. Our waitress was very nice and worked hard for us. Much appreciated!
We will definitely come again.
Very expensive but at least the portions were decent sized.
I hope they pick up business and work out the kinks. It was a beautiful place, but no one was there. We were the only customers. The server was wonderful, but the menu was very limited and there was no dessert on the menu yet. She said they were working on it..
We had confirmed reservations thru Open Table at 8 pm. When we arrived the kitchen was closed, they had no idea how we had reservations...still no empathy, obviously it was hard to get any reservation at another restaurant as it was Saturday and everything was full
