Excellent service. Pretty high quality meat. A bit on the fatty side, but some people really enjoy it, and the marbling was excellent.
Well what an amazing steak! It must be amongst the best I have tasted ever. The seafood tower was tremendous and delicious. Terrific ! Service and staff are fantastic. Would highly recommend.
I consider myself a steak connoisseur and have eaten at the majority of top steakhouses in New York City. Had a business dinner here and everything from the Porterhouse steak and wine selection to the dessert was top notch. I was beyond pleasantly surprised.
Outstanding service and excellent food and presentation. A hidden gem!
Excellent service. Amazing Food. Recommend anyone and everyone to try this place if you haven't already.
The service was superb, the apps perfect and the steaks prepared perfectly. I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant we will be back.
My dad and I went to the Royal 35 Steakhouse for dinner on Saturday night! It was great and we had a fantastic time! First, we got an extremely delicious slice of Canadian Extra Thick Bacon, and plenty of fresh bread! The Bone-In Rib eye was delicious, juicy, tender, and delivered nice and hot, cooked perfectly to a medium rare temperature! Then we ordered the Orange Butter Cake for dessert, which was also delicious and free! The sides (fries and mushrooms) were amazing and my dad said his wedge salad was also excellent! The Royal 35 even made my (soda) pop fancy! The service was amazing and friendly! Mr. Sinanaj, the managing partner, even came over to our table and greeted us during our dinner! Our server was great as well and the staff made Royal 35 a friendly and cozy atmosphere for dinner. My compliments to the chef! I rate it a 10/10 for a wonderful dining experience in NYC!
They hold their own with the great NYC steakhouses. From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it!
Royal 35 It is a beautiful restaurant, the service is excellent, and most importantly the food is incredible. The prices are on par with the quality of the experience. I must say the highlight of this restaurant was the sizzling NY Strip steak cooked to perfection medium- rare with crispy on the outside just like we ordered.
Our meal was outstanding from beginning to end. The restaurant was full but the staff made every effort to seat me quickly.
Even with the loud noise of the bar on a busy Thursday night we had a lovely experience as the food was excellent and the staff was extremely attentive.
Even with the loud noise of the bar on a busy Friday night we had a lovely experience as the food was excellent and the staff was extremely attentive.
Not for me again. Clearly a very popular venue, but absolutely no personal space at all. Tables crammed in so hard that waiters were having to physically move them to allow people to vacate the premises after settling up. The majority of our party found the food very good.
Very good steak. Attentive service. Impossibly noisy.
Excellent food and service with a nice wine selection. I would recommend expanding the bar area if possible.
Everyone was very accommodating would recommend highly
Very good service and food was wonderful and the 3 course pre fixe lunch menu had great items to choose from for the price
My boyfriend and I were visiting NYC, a hotel concierge told me about this place when I asked to dine out. It is a bit hidden off from 35th street and Fifth Avenue but walking distance to Madison Square Garden and once you walk inside it’s very romantic. Food, service and atmosphere are fantastic. Great steaks, upbeat atmosphere. If you are looking for a good steak and romantic dinner, this is a wonderful place.
Great place to eat amazing food, beautiful restaurant, great service. absolutely no complaints at all. Will go again anytime.
We were in smart casual on a Saturday night, and we were fine. Service first class, the atmosphere was wonderful, plenty of space around the tables so you don’t feel cramped.
Fabulous steak. Amazing service. Everything is done right. The staff greets you with kindness and genuine smiles. They are more than happy to help you with whatever you need. The decor is perfect for a great steakhouse. The signature meat is the Porterhouse Steak. Best steak we have ever had. Perfect seasoning and preparation came out hot sizzling.
Terrific food. Would have been a five start review, but our server made a few mistakes throughout the evening that affected our rating (tried to deliver the wrong appetizer, never delivered the one we ordered, etc). Great ambience. Would definitely give them another try
We were welcomed and seated right away. The tuna tartare appetizer was very good. We both had the filet for dinner and it was fantastic. Our server was very attentive and played a big part in the positive’s of this visit. The only drawback was that it was very loud and difficult at times to carry on a conversation across the table.
We really had a bad experience at this restaurant. It was so loud that we barely couldnt understand each other. Staff was really rushing us to finish quickly, eventhough they saw us still eating. Food was okay.
The quality of the meat served was outstanding. The facility has , however, a very high ceiling (which needs paint) and is extremly noisy because of the acoustics. Furthermore, we had a reservation, but when we arrived in time we were told that the wait is 30-45 minutes. Only complaining to the manager reduced it to 15 minutes
We were there on a crazy, busy night. We arrived early but couldn’t get a table for 30 min after our reservation. The hostess was gracious, apologetic, while running a tight ship.
Our waiter, Millot, was wonderful, engaging and very hard working. Somewhere the understaff was struggling getting the right food to the right tables. But our waiter came behind and kept things straight. The owner came by and checked on our satisfaction.
We could not come close to finishing our steak for 2. With no fridge in our hotel, we asked if they could wrap up our leftovers and keep them until the next day. Both waiter and owner were happy to accommodate our request.
On our return, we asked for the waiter who came out and apologized that someone had thrown out our order. The restaurant made a fresh replacement and packed it with ice so we could pack and take it home. We can’t wait to eat these yummy leftovers at home.
Make your weeknight reservations early and give it a try.
Service was terrible, ordered medium revived well done they won’t replace steaks and are none food issues it will take long.
we were party of 9 guys for my friend b-day we had one waiter who had 4 tables the service was slow some people revived main course while other were getting appetizers
Wanted to cancel soup it came with the main course the didn’t want to cancel....... steak were just ok nothing special on order of salmon was so over cooked and it came with side order of greasy onion ring when asked for any vegetable that was refused.
So, I will not go there again
I live in NYC since 1989 I’m 52 years old and it’s the first time I’m writing a revue we were so disappointed that the following week we went out again for my friends birthday.
Great food, great ambiance. Porterhouse is must try.
Fantastic experience at royal 35. I booked a larger party for my business colleagues and I the same day, and Royal rolled out the red carpet for us, giving us the private room upstairs. I'd say they could fit 25 people or so. Perfect place for a team dinner.
Wine, porterhouses, and service was excellent.
Phenomenal!! This place was recommended to us by our Hotel. Upon seating, we were greeted right away by management. Overall top notch service, upscale environment and incredible food. This place was packed on a Monday night the only negative to the experience was the noise a little too loud. If you are wanting a quiet dinner this is not the place. Our server was very attentive and gave great recommendations. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting superb service and a unique atmosphere coupled with delicious food.
Excellent in every aspect. Everything was prepared perfectly. Excellent dry aged steaks and seafood. Sides are unbelievable. Desserts are fantastic as well.
This is a High-end steakhouse serving prime cuts dry aged in house amazing view of the meat. We really enjoyed our dining experience.
We had a wonderful dinner at Royal 35! We got the porterhouse for 2 and it was soooo delicious! It was expensive but honestly totally worth it! The German potatoes are delicious as well! If you’re looking for a fancy steakhouse that ages their own beef, this is a perfect place to go!
Great steak dinner at Royal 35 Steakhouse. Had the dry aged bone-in rib eye Steak was very good. A crispy crust, perfect medium rare and tasty.
Troppo caro, ci sono ristoranti anche meno cari di qualità superiore.
Amazing staff. Ready to meet special requests. Great for groups & couples. Steak was amazing. Seafood apps are first class.
We came to Royal for my sons birthday while vacationing in the city. Everyone was very accommodating, and the food was wonderful. They had great suggestions for wine and were knowledgeable about their dry aged meats. The room was a bit close quarters, but noise level was never a problem. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thanks to the fabulous staff.
21st Birthday treat. Fantastic food and service
