About Roxy Bar

Roxy Bar is spacious and refreshingly mellow. By day, it’s the perfect location to meet, work, and relax with a leisurely breakfast or lunch, and by night, it transforms into the archetypal downtown space where low-lying velvet and leather seating and floor to ceiling windows make for stylish socializing. Delicious appetizers and shared plates pair thoughtfully with wine and signature cocktails. For dinner, intimate tables line 6th Avenue and the menu features light, mostly organic appetizers and salads, plus larger entrees like Chilean Sea Bass and house-cut steaks. The Roxy Bar, an intimate room behind paned glass, has a long glossy bar top, where the fine art of shaking cocktails is alive and well. A music program features cutting-edge selections and weekly DJs, and the all day and late night menus, created by the hotel’s renowned chef, go far beyond bar snacks.

Best bunch joint in town. Classy but not so expensive. Live music is awesome!

Our server was very disengaged and would walk away halfway through our order and get extremely annoyed whenever we wanted to order a drink. I've been there many many times, referred multiple people to the Roxy not only as a place for out of towners to stay but as a brunch and dinner spot, and this was the first time I felt disappointed in the service

I live in the neighborhood, so the roxy is a natural stop.
An ok place to meet before heading elsewhere. While the oysters are OK , that's pretty much where it ends. The Service is inconsistent , the music intermittent and maître d' just full of themselves. If it wasn't just around the corner they never see my face.

Honestly some of the worst service I've ever experienced at the Roxy. Drinks were awful, waitress was rude, food was subpar. Truly disappointed.

No brunch on saturdays until september! Good food but overpriced for what it is! No jazz playing on saturdays either. Expected more!

I really like this place for Sunday brunch. However, they should consider replacing the cook (who makes the omelettes and waffles) as he had an attitude and was not at all friendly on my last visit there (2/5/17). Everyone else is very friendly and kind.

Went here for a quick lunch and drink during the week. It looks like it might be a cool place to grab drinks but the food was mediocre at best and vastly over priced. For a 30 dollar burger I expected something noteworthy. It wasn't. Nice spot for drinks, wouldn't recommend eating there

Came back for Sunday brunch. The buffet and omelette stations are very satisfying, the general ambiance and atrium is quite comfortable, and the live music is really fantastic (Michael Sheridan quartet) with no music cover charge. Will definitely be back again.

Food was better than expected for hotel brunch. Service was not good, very odd since they don't have to do much. It's a buffet.

Cool spot but not when there is a birthday party for a 1 year old taking up the entire wait staff. Manager was chasing poorly behaved kids, waiter forgot to tell us brunch was over. We started ordering 2 cocktails at a time since it took 20 minutes for one to be served.

Great vibe inside. Live music is loud but fantastic. Food wont disappoint you. Local spot for us so convenience factor is amazing. My issue is the last two times I've been there service was so slow it was painful. Otherwise it's a great spot and hopefully the hire some more folks

For $35, the Sunday buffet brunch with live jazz band was a great value. There were made-to-order omelets, waffles, sausages, bacon, salads, fruit, pastries & desserts. In addition, there was a free children's movie playing in the downstairs cinema. For $20 extra, champagne was included.

This a large comfortable bar/lounge with banquet booths and seating areas surrounding the bar and performance space. The food was well prepared and the server was excellent. This is a good spot for the Tribecca area. There is live music here as well often.

This is my third or fourth time at this establishment. I love the brunch offerings and the general atmosphere. The musician (a pianist) was terrific but the wait staff is very inattentive. I would still recommend it, as it's mostly self-service.

Excellent offering of brunch food and a great value delivered by a friendly and competent staff. But the very best reason to check it out is to enjoy Michael Garin on the piano.

The only thing that I did not like was that some of the seating was geared towards people who just wanted to have a drink and chill, and this is the type of seating my brother and I had for dinner. An otherwise excellent place.

The brunch was fabulous. My husband, myself and our 20month old son had a lovely time for wedding anniversary brunch. The selections for the hot entrees were limited but it was great for the price thay you paid. The food was fresh and the ambiance is classy yet inviting and comfortable. The jazz music complemented the decor. The staff were attentive and very pleasant.
after the brunch, We had a great time watching a movie in the hotel's movie theater. It was a very nice experience over all

Cool spot for brunch with kids. The live jazz is a great touch (and distractor!), buffet works very well, good selection of food. Staff were really really lovely - flexible with our exceedingly late arrival and sweet with our raucous offspring. Thank you, we will be back!

This brunch is no more than a 4 star hotel regular breakfast bar. Service was abominable, and every table had babies and bored toddlers. The choices of food were very limited and looked like leftovers. Tables too small and placed too close together for the army of strollers to get through. Music was good except that every other number was happy birthday.
They should beef up the buffet, train the bartender and rope off an area for adults who wish to have a conversation.

We attended the Jazz Sunday Brunch buffet. The food was excellent . Service was almost next to none. Even though it was a buffet, except for a brief conversation after we were seated, we had to search for someone every time we needed something. Also charged $6.00 for a cup of tea and never told us that it was not included in the $34.99 price of the buffet. Hotel is beautiful though and the Church Lounge was very nice.
